1. To create my stop motion animation, I used a variety of different technologies, I began by using a digital camera and a tripod and took a total of 140 photos from the same angle and position. The tripod allowed me to avoid the picture blurring in case the camera moved, the images moved across very slightly each time to create a continuous stream of images, I then put the pictures together in a slide show. To get my animation onto my blog, firstly I had to upload it to slide share which converted it into the appropriate form, I then pasted the link which embedded it into my blog.I did not find creating the stop motion animation hard the only thing I found difficult was the transition between my power point and embedding it onto my blog. I decided to use this sequence as I thought it would be most effective, and would be simple to move the image of the tardis around the page whilst taking the pictures. This was my second idea, at fist i was going to use a soap opera called the cut to do my stop motion animation but later decided that doctor who would be more interesting as there is more movement and action. This sequence is taken from the Doctor Who episode, The Eleventh Hour. My work is combined with two other students and I created the start of the sequence on my own. We had limited resources as there were not enough cameras and tripods for the whole class, we overcame this by working in groups.My stop motion animation was in the genre sci-fi the main focus was the Tardis, my group each created their sequences to create a continuous sequence to the start of the episode.
