CITE Concordia’s 46-credit program is designed for working professionals who do not hold certification in education and need a program that will work around their 9 to 5 work schedule. Upon completion of the program and state mandated tests and workshops, Students will be eligible for certification in General and Special Education at Early Childhood Level. Coursework is offered on Saturdays from 8:30am – 4:00pm. In addition to course work, students are required to attend workshops designed to prepare students to successfully complete new, more rigorous, state exams.

Courses are offered on Saturdays in Downtown Brooklyn from 8:30am – 4:00pm. One course during the program will be taken online and students are required to take one course on campus at Concordia College of Bronxville. Students will also take one course from Monday to Friday during July. Please see the schedule below for exact dates.
Each 3 – credit course costs $1275 or $425 per credit. Financial Aid is available in the form of school loans for those that qualify. Please contact Concordia Colleges Financial Aid Department at 914-337-9300 for more information. Please note: Students must enroll in a minimum number of credits per semester in order to receive financial aid. The cohort schedule as designed allows students to meet those credit minimums throughout the program. Deviation from the schedule may mean loss of financial aid eligibility.

10. Transfer
credits
- Concordia College will consider 6 credits
for transfer into the Early Childhood
Program.
- These credits must be taken within the
last 5 years and the student must receive
a B+ or better.
- Furthermore, every potential transfer will
be evaluated by Concordia faculty to
ensure that the content area is a match
with the program.
- Transfer Credit evaluation will take place
at the time of acceptance.
