J.K. Saini surveyed mobile applications for creating assessments and quizzes. They tested the apps Ko-su and Question Writer HTML5. Ko-su had limitations like a restrictive free trial and difficulty creating content. Question Writer HTML5 allowed easy creation of multiple choice, fill-in, and ordering questions. It provided immediate feedback and reports to teachers. However, it lacked support for descriptive questions. Overall, Question Writer HTML5 was found to be useful for formative assessment through mobile quizzes, but could be improved by adding descriptive question support.

10. Drawbacks with the current features
The interface is not user friendly. Content creation and publishing are not
efficiently integrated. It takes time to upload an activity.
The process of creating new activity has to be repeated which takes long time. It
should preferably be on the same page to speed up the process.
The drag and drop option for creating a class and group can be modified to
make it more user friendly.
In the free version, there should be provision to create at least 3 classes to make
it more popular. At the moment, only one class can be created.

11. Free trial is restricted to only three quizzes a
month.
Somehow, it stopped working for reasons to be
explored. The invite message stopped reaching
the learners.
Hence further testing of the application was
dropped.

16. Publishing the Quiz
Once the quiz is ready, click on publish icon and
follow the onscreen instructions.
A code/link is created for the quiz which can be
shared with the students. We can check the code
by log in www.questionwrittertracker.com ,
which requires registration
The students can access the quiz by putting the
code in the browser and attempt it.
A report is sent to the teacher through email and
also uploaded on the site
We can login www.questionwrittertracker.com
and check the details

17. Assessment
Assessment is immediate and reported to the
students at the end of the quiz.
The teacher gets the feedback on the performance
of the students through an email. The result is
also uploaded on the website and can easily be
tracked by the teacher

23. Group Experience
Learners find the Quiz easy to answer.
As a teacher, I can ask for the identification of the learner with
their names and email.
Once answered, feedback is received by learners immediately
and a report sent to the teacher at the same time.
This motivates them to keep trying the next quiz.

24. Suggestion for improvement:
At the moment, the question writer is found to be useful for Quiz creation.
It has covered many of the drawbacks which were faced in Ko-Su.
It is found to be extremely useful tool for formative assessment. It can be
tried during the class by posting question for immediate feedback to test
understanding of students.
However, this software can be made a comprehensive assessment tool if a
provision is also created for some descriptive questions and answers which
the teacher can check and send feedback after reading the contents of the
answer.
