26. The only thing you directly control is you

27. OK I know stress and I know problems, give me the fix!

29. Ideally we need a balance Low High Activity Performance High Low Optimum performance Laid back Anxious Crisis Inactive Bored out of my mind Wow I’m getting paid to do this! I can’t take it!

31. In a crisis we have 2 choices Fight or flight

32. Our body and mind may tense up

33. Think of alternate plans Plan C & D are good too

34. We carry around blame and resentment We suppress feelings and emotions

35. Forgiveness

36. No one’s perfect, go easy with criticism

37. But if you must, try this Warning: Very Hot; This criticism-sandwich should be handled with care

38. Ask will it matter 100 years from now?

39. Accept people as they are OK it’s easier said, but it does work!

40. Simplify your life

41. Remember you, your relationships and life are not perfect And neither is the tower of Pisa, but it is still standing

42. Have big dreams But face reality

43. Separate Needs from Wants Ask is it nice or necessary?

44. Live in the present Take one thing at a time, one minute at a time Yesterday is gone, tomorrow has yet to arrive.

45. Exercise & eat well You know regular exercise & good nutrition takes the blues away

46. A little prayer goes a long way
