You know, last week crude had a very wild ride selling off to $97 in May only to come back +$7 as bombings began in Libya over the weekend. Around the currency market, the USD has broken the $1.40 barrier on the Euro/USD and this is adding to oil's gain as May crude is up to $104.

3. There is some noticeable points that traders need to pay special attention to the Middle East. Why so? You know, this is a very sensitive area that can quickly turn the market either way with each fresh piece of news that comes out. In the mean time, the story in Japan of course must not be overlooked with the radiation in the nuclear facilities still causing problems.

4. Being as traders in futures trading floor, we should note all of these factors since they are leading towards a rallying oil price . As predicted, it will continue into this week so look for resistance in May crude oil at the $108 level. If this should break the market may be off to the races again.

5. You may already take note important points in the energy market, how about metals? Thanks to changes in currency trading, precious metals have benefited from a weak USD and continuing tensions in the Middle East to trade much higher this past week with Gold looking to test the high of $1,445 again.

6. The gold market had great support in the low $1,400's and now appears poised to break the all-time high as the Euro/USD trades north of $1.41. While silver has been rallying very nicely as well with this market approaching the $36 mark. Traders might look to buy some OTM calls in the precious metals as these may continue to move higher with the aforementioned fundamentals, and the uncertainty of the Japan radiation levels in the nuclear facilities.
