- 7. How did we use transit before smartphones and mobile connectivity? Pick up the phone, make plans in advance. Pull out a paper map to figure out the closest subway stop and plan your trip. Check the local news on TV for delays. Making new plans or changing your plans means revisiting the paper map. Running late? Can’t let your friends know!

- Common example: apple, but let’s think bigger. What about a conference? There are so many parts of the conference experience from signing up, to arrival, to organization, etc.
