Day 01
Standing aloft at an altitude of 1,950m in the Beas River valley is the spectacular hill station
of Manali. Located in the North West Himalayas is the city of Shimla, also called the ‘Queen
of Hills’ with its colonial charm. Manali and Shimla are perfect hide outs for those seeking a
tranquil place to rest and refresh.
Meet and greet at Delhi airport or railway station and proceed to Shimla which takes about
9 hours with stopovers in between. Check-in to the hotel relax and dine.
Day 02
After breakfast, visit Jakhu temple located amidst beautiful deodar tress on top of the
beautiful Jakhu hills. Next stop is the serene Tibetan Monastery and on to Glen Forest,
which is abound with pine and deodar forests. The famous Chadwick falls is also in Glen.
Evening can be spending in The Mall where one picks souvenirs and other knick-knacks.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
2. Day 03
Have breakfast and proceed to Kufri, which is a hill station with break taking views of snow-
capped slopes and nature.Kurfi is famous for its horse and yak ride. Can do skiing in winter
month and hike to Mahasu peak through forest if one has the spirit of adventure. Visit
Himalayan Nature Park situated at 2600m above sea level which is a natural habitat for
many animals including sambhar, musk deer etc. In winters the park is covered with snow
and acts as a perfect place to enjoy the magnanimity of the Himalayas. Back to Shimla by
evening and retire to hotel.
Day 04
Finish breakfast and advance to Manali which is a 9 hours driver. Enroute visit Manikaran,
located in the Parvati valley at an altitude of 1760m, known for its hot springs and pilgrim
centres. Reach resort in Manali by evening, relax and rest overnight.
3. Day 05
First destination is the Hidimba Temple, located at the foot of the Himalayas surrounded by
cedar forest and built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground. Next visit the Monastries
and Visits Hot Water Springs and Temple, known for its natural sulphur springs and old
stone temples. Spend evening in the town of Manali and retreat to the hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 06
After breakfast, set off to Solang Valley, also known as Snow Point, known for its 300-m ski
lift which offers awesome views of glaciers and snow-covered mountains. Next, take a trip
to Rohtang Pass, which is about 51 kms from Manali and offers breath taking sights of
Himalayan range. However, the pass is only open from May-November.
4. Day 07
After breakfast, check out and proceed from Manali to Delhi, enjoying the scenic route.
