   What is the LDP?
The Leading Dimensions Profile (LDP) is a 95-item survey, based on a multi-dimensional framework that
measures two primary motivational factors and ten supporting behavioral characteristics (referred to as
dimensions). The primary factors, Achievement Drive and Relational Drive, are presented on the widely-
used 2x2 grid format, describing an individual based on one of four unique personality styles:

       Consultative Counselor
       Adaptive Coach
       Directive Driver
       Contemplative Advisor


   How can I use the LDP?
The LDP is used for a variety of purposes, within both individual and organizational applications. Some
examples include:

       Employment selection
       Sales force training
       Leadership development
       Coaching
       Workshops
       Recruiting
       Relationship-building
       Diversity training
       Communication seminars


   What does the LDP offer?
The LDP is intended to convey an individual's primary approach to communicating, learning, resolving
conflict, and exercising influence over others. The primary factors are supported by ten dimensions,
including:

       Achieving Dimensions:
        o Assertiveness
        o Adaptability
        o Perception
        o Work Intensity
        o Uncertainty Avoidance

       Relating Dimensions:
        o Affiliation
        o Consideration
        o Openness
        o Self-protection
        o Status Motivation

How does the LDP work?
An individual's LDP results are provided in seven distinct reports, each offering a practical description of
an individual's likely behaviors within specific applications.

                Report Title:     Summary Report
                Length:           1 page
                Description:      Provides a brief overview of an individual's ten behavioral dimensions in
                                  a single page format.
                Application:      Recruiting, Selection, Training

                Report Title:     Score Card
                Length:           1 page
                Description:      Calculates an individual's percent match to a validated LDP position
                                  profile (such as Sales Closer).
                Application:      Selection, Succession Planning

                Report Title:     Work Style Report
                Length:           2 pages
                Description:      Provides a comparison between an individual's LDP results and the
                                  dimensions most likely to promote desired performance for a position.
                Application:      Recruiting, Selection, Development, Succession Planning

                Report Title:     Overview Report
                Length:           17 pages
                Description:      Provides a comprehensive review of an individual's style and supporting
                                  dimensions, including how they approach tasks and relationships.
                Application:      Training, Coaching, Development

                Report Title:     Personal Style Report
                Length:           7 pages
                Description:      Designed specifically for the individual, this report describes strengths
                                  and development opportunities for personal development.
                Application:      Recruiting, Coaching, Training, Development

                Report Title:     Profile Grid
                Length:           4 pages
                Description:      Provides an overview of the individual's primary style, including potential
                                  strengths and challenges associated with the specific style.
                Application:      Training, Development

                Report Title:     Sales Profile
                Length:           8 pages
                Description:      Describes how the individual's likely approach to the sales cycle,
                                  including developmental tips that may be suited to the individual's style.
                Application:      Coaching, Training, Development
