The author reminisces about falling in love with their partner in high school after the partner gave the author their football jersey. They were together through college and married after being engaged, and had a daughter they lost. Seven years after getting together and two years after marrying, the author is looking forward to calling their partner "Daddy" the following summer and celebrating a lifetime of moments together.
