My life story...really.

1. This is my story …

2. From age 9, I wanted to be an artist. .

3. But I didn’t draw well.

4. I practiced. I took countless lessons with many different teachers.

5. I didn’t really improve.

6. My art teachers threatened to hurt me if I didn’t stop.

7. So I became an accountant because I could … Subtract Add

8. I wasn’t happy 

9. I tried not to think about it.

10. Then at the age of 33 …

11. while taking shelter in the top of the 5 th inning of my daughter’s rain-delayed softball game…

12. I was struck by lightning.

13. Several days, a few burns , and one doctor visit later…

14. I noticed during a death-by-ppt meeting that my doodling was quite good!

15. I became obsessed -- drawing, painting, sculpting, creating during every free moment.

17. Friends and strangers said that I was talented. I went back to my former art teachers…

18. ...they cried.

19. They wanted to shoot themselves.

20. I quit my job and began selling my work. I made a fortune!

21. Unfortunately, my spouse left me.

22. Get over it!

23. Today my daughter and I live in a Manhattan penthouse with a maid, driver, and a Mercedes.

24. We spend summers in our Tuscany villa.

25. See. Dreams do come true!

26. But then …

27. … sometimes they’re just dreams.
