2. Return, And I Will Be With You
Genesis 31:1-7 NKJV Now Jacob heard the words of Laban's sons,
saying, "Jacob has taken away all that was our father's, and from
what was our father's he has acquired all this wealth." (2) And
Jacob saw the countenance of Laban, and indeed it was not
favorable toward him as before. (3) Then the LORD said to
Jacob, "Return to the land of your fathers and to your family, and I
will be with you." (4) So Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah
to the field, to his flock,
3. Return, And I Will Be With You
Genesis 31:1-7 continued (5) and said to them, "I see your father's
countenance, that it is not favorable toward me as before; but the
God of my father has been with me. (6) And you know that with
all my might I have served your father. (7) Yet your father has
deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not
allow him to hurt me.
4. I
R Have you ever:
Been betrayed
Felt Alone
Wrongfully accused
I Experienced a devastating loss
Depressed by illness
Mourned loss of a loved one

5. Genesis 31:7-10 NKJV Yet your father has deceived me and
changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to hurt
me. (8) If he said thus: 'The speckled shall be your wages,' then
all the flocks bore speckled. And if he said thus: 'The streaked
shall be your wages,' then all the flocks bore streaked. (9) So
God has taken away the livestock of your father and given them to
me. (10) "And it happened, at the time when the flocks
conceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold,
the rams which leaped upon the flocks were streaked, speckled,
and gray-spotted.
6. 1 Peter 5:5-8 NKJV Likewise you younger people, submit
yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one
another, and be clothed with humility, for "GOD RESISTS THE
PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE." (6) Therefore
humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may
exalt you in due time, (7) casting all your care upon Him, for He
cares for you. (8) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary
the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may
devour.
8. Genesis 31:11-13 NKJV Then the Angel of God spoke to me in a
dream, saying, 'Jacob.' And I said, 'Here I am.' (12) And He said,
‘Lift your eyes now and see, all the rams which leap on the flocks
are streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted; for I have seen all that
Laban is doing to you. (13) I am the God of Bethel, where you
anointed the pillar and where you made a vow to Me. Now arise,
get out of this land, and return to the land of your family.’ ”
9. Luke 15:17-19 NKJV "But when he came to himself, he said, 'How
many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to
spare, and I perish with hunger! (18) I will arise and go to my
father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven
and before you, (19) and I am no longer worthy to be called your
son. Make me like one of your hired servants.”’
10. Luke 15:20-24 NKJV "And he arose and came to his father. But
when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had
compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. (21)
And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven
and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
(22) "But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe
and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his
feet. (23) And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat
and be merry; (24) for this my son was dead and is alive again;
he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry.
11. 2 Peter 3:9 NKJV The Lord is not slack concerning His promise,
as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not
willing that any should perish but that all should come to
repentance.
13. Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
(2) He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me
beside the still waters. (3) He restores my soul; He leads me in
the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. (4) Yea, though I
walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
(5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. (6) Surely
goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I
will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.
15. Genesis 31:14-16 NKJV Then Rachel and Leah
answered and said to him, "Is there still any portion
or inheritance for us in our father's house? (15) Are
we not considered strangers by him? For he has sold
us, and also completely consumed our money. (16)
For all these riches which God has taken from our
father are really ours and our children's; now then,
whatever God has said to you, do it.”
16. Heb. 11:13-16 These all died in faith, not having received the
promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them,
embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and
pilgrims on the earth. (14) For those who say such things declare
plainly that they seek a homeland. (15) And truly if they had
called to mind that country from which they had come out, they
would have had opportunity to return. (16) But now they desire a
better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to
be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
17. John 17:14-18 NKJV I have given them Your word; and
the world has hated them because they are not of the
world, just as I am not of the world. (15) I do not pray
that You should take them out of the world, but that
You should keep them from the evil one. (16) They
are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. (17)
Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. (18)
As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them
into the world.
