Defensive behavior = reactive and protective behaviours to avoid action, blame or change Play safe = evading situation that may reflect unfavourably, This case = take a neutral positions, esp in conflicts IM = attempt to control the impression others form of u. Flattery = compliment others about their virtues to make someone appear perceptive and likeable Association = Protect one’s image by managing info about people and things with which one is associated.
