7. In 2011 T-Mobile became the official sponsor for The First Annual Funny or Die Sketch Comedy Challenge. The Sketch comedy Challenge was an idea created by FOD and then tailored to T-Mobile. The challenge consisted of three up and coming sketch groups (Tremendosaur, Cream, and The Birthday Boys) being challenged to create sketches centered around the T-Mobile theme of “connected”. Funny or Die filmed the sketches as well as the behind the scenes mayhem and hosted the videos on a special custom landing page within Funny or Die. Our users were then encouraged to watch the sketch videos and vote for the best one, the winners receiving cash and various prizes from T-Mobile. BE Case Study – T-Mobile The videos got over 123,000 views on FunnyorDie. The winner was “The System” by The Birthday Boys with over 49,000 views and an 88% Funny rating. Click to Watch Click to Watch
