- Go through each tab and menus to get familiar with them:HOME – Layout and contentINSERT – Visuals and diagrams, etc to build your contentDESIGN – The default is based on our corporate look/feel. You will rarely need this tab.ANIMATIONS – Apply after your content is set.SLIDE SHOW – Test your presentation and use rehearsal tools.REVIEW – Share your work with team members more effectively.VIEW – Arrange multiple presentations, change to B/W, etc.The Quick Access Toolbar – For the tools/commands you use most often, right click on the tool, and choose “Add to Quick Access Toolbar.” This is the only “native” way to customize your tools in 2007. A slide in the resources section later will give a link to an add-in for customizing the ribbon.
