- I decided a while ago to make innovation a signature move. This has some consequences: People don’t always like me.\nObstacles will arise – I get to choose how to address the obstacles. 9 times out of 10, I choose a big stupid smile. You can design who you are going to BE, your context, when things don’t go your way… and even when things go well.\n\n\n\n

- Know what to do with failures. \nA good carpenter is not one who doesn’t make mistakes.\nA good carpenter knows what to do with their mistakes.\n\n\n\n
- Put your ass on the line. Make promises. Take ownership, especially when you do NOT manage to deliver on those promises. Talk about doorface.\n\n\n\n\n
