2. About Joel Kline, APR I am a consultant and a digital media professor who focuses on Knowledge Management, User Experience (UX), Enterprise 2.0, and communication. I have become a special projects guy for my clients. I work on projects that require unique knowledge, team coordination, extensive research on technology or users, or where internal resources are limited. Client: Lebanon County Housing Authority Project: Information Design and Internet Development Description: Designed an Internet presence for the Authority which contains a significant amount of forms, policies, and procedures. The site had to meet the needs of a varied audience including tenants, seniors, Section 8 landlords, and Redevelopment Authority clients.
4. Client: Hauck Manufacturing Company Project: Information Design and Internet Development Description: Designed a website with an integrated Content Management System (CMS). This manufacturer needed to focus on B2B interaction with customers, prospects, and OEM manufacturers who use Hauck burners as part of their products. A CMS is used by the company to add all content to the site including events, news, product catalogs, and sales contacts.
5. Client: OROT Project: E-commerce Website Description: Designed an e-commerce website for a non-profit organization. The e-commerce component uses a payment proxy from eProcessing Network to reduce the complexity of e-commerce components on the website. E-commerce allows stakeholders in the organization to purchase fundraising materials, tickets for the annual gala, and purchase and submit advertisements to the gala program.
6. Client: Various Project: Training Description: Developed and delivered a training program on Digital Media (DM). Curriculum includes both theory and applied concepts associated with the production of DM for consumers. Modified the content and presentation for nonprofits, B2B, and government agencies.
7. Client: VerbComm, Inc. Project: Collateral Sales Material Description: Created collateral sales materials for a networking and IT solutions company. Targeted sales pieces were created for different audiences but delivered a consistent message.
8. Client: Hauck Manufacturing, Inc. Project: Collaboration Portal Description: Developed and maintain a collaboration site using MicroSoft SharePoint Services on a hosted provider. This image is a co-branded team site between Hauck and one of their customers, Williams stone crushing (asphalt). I also created team sites for other customers, for an internal sales team, and as an FTP document repository for salespeople and sales representatives.
9. Client: North Lebanon Township Project: Website and Content Management System Description: Developed a website and content management system for a local township. The website featured a frequently asked question section which was customized to the calendar and showed different questions depending upon the season. The site also featured extensive recycling information and provided an extensive set of forms to register for all types of events and township resources, including Lake Lions facilities.
10. Client: Cocciardi and Associates Project: Website and Content Management System Description: Developed a website and content management system for a B2B environmental safety and remediation company. The website featured a live link to news from OSHA and other federal agencies that impacted the clients of Cocciardi. Another feature was a document repository which the company used to put research reports, findings, and other documents behind a secure login for clients.
11. Over 100 clients Project: Websites, databases, interactive design, marketing, printing Description: Owned and operated Concept Communications, Inc. from 1994 to 2006. Developed over 100 websites for businesses and performed technical communication, public relations, technology integration and strategic marketing services. Clients included car dealerships, a credit union, local and state government agencies, manufacturing and fabrication businesses, shopping newspapers, and state associations.
