Want to be as happy as this dog?
Getting 40% or more sales or leads from your website without
spending money on it every month would make me smile too . . .
You probably already know that getting more traffic to your web site
can be difficult and expensive.
But, there is another way . . .
Here’s something you can do one time that will bring you extra sales
month after month.
Put up a mobile version of your site.
Your webmaster or hosting company may say your site is already mobile compatible, but that’s not good
enough.
Let me show you what I mean . . .
Go to your website on a smart phone and let’s see how it looks.
Does it look like this?
2. This site is viewable on a phone without side to side scrolling, but will
require quite a bit of zooming to read any of the text.
Some sites are even worse than this and require side to side scrolling and
then lots of zooming in to read anything.
Or, does it look like this?
Easy to read without any zooming or scrolling side to side.
This blog you are reading right now is on a platform called Kalatu, that
automatically makes your sites work great on smart phone. Click Here to
see how you can have one too. When I checked the cost to make my other
sites mobile friendly, I got prices from $500 and up and monthly charges of
$25 or more.
The Kalatu blog does it all for you for no extra cost at all and you can put
multiple sites on the platform too!
No matter how you do it, you really need to get your web site mobile friendly
right now because:
“Google is doing another algorithm update that will
penalize sites not mobile friendly with lower rankings
when people search on their phones.”
In fact, Google themselves will tell you if your site meets their criteria for
being mobile friendly. Just click here and put your URL on the page and
click “analyze”.
Although the official start of changing rankings based mobile friendliness is April 15, 2015, it’s already
started. This what you see on smart phone searches – they put the term “mobile friendly” on the search
result and rank you higher!
3. Obviously ranking on Google higher will help your sales, but where did I come up with the 40% number in
the title of this post?
I was totally ignoring the benefit of ranking higher – I was using 40% as the number of site visitors who are
looking at your site on a mobile device – using a totally unscientific sample size of one – my own site!
“If people cannot easily interact with your site,
they’ll leave. If 40% of your site visitors are leaving,
you can get 40% more sales just by fixing that problem!”
So, I suppose you are thinking that your site is different and you don’t have enough mobile visitors to
matter? Right?
No worries, here are two ways to find out EXACTLY how many of your site visitors are using smart phones
or tablets.
1. If you have Google Analytics on your site, just look there under how people access your site and it will
4. tell you what percent are mobile
2. If you don’t have GA, your site is still hosted somewhere, right? Go to the cpanel in your hosting or
ask your webmaster to do it. The same info is on your cpanel stats.
So no excuses – do it now!
