Signs and Symptoms Calluses or scars on knuckles or hands Puffy cheeks Discolored teeth Frequent fluctuations in weight Low Self esteem or self worth
Diagnosis Blood tests  X-rays Physical exams  Urine Tests Mental State Exam Eating Habits
How the Body is Affected Dangerous disease where every aspect of the body and organs are affected  Damage to vital organs, such as the liver and kidneys, heart failure Can result in death
Prognosis and Treatment Seeking mental help when you first recognize feelings of anxiety, depression, or lack of self-esteem or self worth Breaking the binge and purge cycle Changing unhealthy thoughts and patterns Solving emotional issues Support from loved ones
