Tonight’s Key Vocabulary Neuro Linguistic Programming:  The science of personal excellence “Neuro” is the Greek root relating to the brain, “Linguistic” relating to language and communication, and “programming” like with computers, or the code that links your mind, emotions, and body Beliefs: A degree of certainty that something is true Rules: The way we choose to do things in order to achieve our Beliefs or Values
Some Key NLP Concepts to Remember You are in charge of your mind, and therefore your results There is no failure: only feedback People have all the resources they need to succeed and the achieve their goals.  There are no un-resourceful people, only believing we are un-resourceful

To help clarify this definition, think about your ideal world in terms of:Be  Your state of mind; how you relate to yourself and othersDo  Your roles, behaviors, and contributionHave  Your results and rewards

Climbing Out of the Well Step 1:  Create the Ideal 	Envision what your ideal future outside would look and feel like. Step 2:Look at what you have now that you don’t want. Understand the costs of staying where you are now, versus the benefits of giving it up. Step 3: Create new empowering beliefs 	Decide what belief will empower you and build up the support and the internal evidence to internalize this belief Step 4:Commit to a plan 	Agree to take specific action based on SMART Goals to create the pathway out.

What is the worst thing that could happen to you if you continues to hold onto this limiting belief?
