13. Dan Norman
www.dannorman.co.uk
Why am I a coach? Why do I want to help inspire,
facilitate and broaden people's resource, richness and
experience of life? Why would I assume this to be
important or myself capable of this?
This is my passion, my deep unavoidable interest,
because I've never found a more satisfying experience
than charting areas of the human experience with
another and together finding the feel good
intersection of humble understanding, existential truth
and powerful action.
Using all of us, our mind, speech, writing, movement,
action, to broaden, deepen and surface what it is that
we really want, need and aspire to, is work worth
pursuing for me. That's why I formed Dan Norman
Coaching.

14. Drewe Broughton
www.surpassfitness.co.uk
Drewe played professional football for 17 years across the 4 professional
divisions in the UK. Amassing a wealth of experience working under coaches,
physiotherapists, chiropractors, Strength & conditioning coaches, Pilates and
yoga instructors and many other practitioners, therapists, and such like.
He embarked on a journey to re-educate himself in 2007. This re-education was
born out of his passion for movement. Having struggled, like every athlete, with
injury, reoccurring strains and stiffness, Drewe came across John hardy through
a recommendation from an old S&C coach, who had heard a talk by John at
the annual FIT PRO convention at Loughborough University. John shifted a
reoccurring hamstring tear via Skype from San Francisco, through seeing
Drewe’s feet load and unload on screen and creating a solution temporarily
and then long term through movement.
Drewe then worked through his level 2/3 pt courses and spent the next 4 years
doing FASTERs diplomas in performance/ therapy and More recently the
Faster Training Expert course.
He now spends his time alongside Jake conditioning current professional
players and golfers using his vast experience as a former athlete to empathise
with their state of mind and body helping find solutions through movement and
the correct exercise foundations.

15. Jake Attwood
www.surpassfitness.co.uk
Jake started work for Virgin Active over 10 years ago where he
became a Master Trainer. He learnt the ability to coach and train
during this apprenticeship. During this time Jake studied for and
achieved his degree in Sports Science. However, it was during a
seminar at Virgin that he first heard John Hardy present on movement
and sequencing. This was where Jakes career path changed. Over the
next 5 years Jake was mentored by John and undertook FASTERs
education, one diploma at a time. Achieving a diploma in
performance, diploma in therapy and finally the Functional Training
Expert course. Jake used his new knowledge to branch out on his own
and quickly got a reputation as he began to work with professional
athletes. His results spoke for themselves and eventually Jake alongside
fellow Faster graduate and ex-professional footballer Drewe Broughton
started Surpass Fitness.
Jake also became Faster UK’s head tutor. Teaching the next generation
of performance coaches about his beliefs on movement and bone
Sequencing alongside spending his week on the road between London,
Birmingham, Cardiff and Manchester conditioning Surpass’s growing
stable of players.
