Selecting the Appropriate Topchic Lotion when using with 11 Series 30 Volume (9%) = Suggested for fine-normal textures or when less lift is desired 40 Volume (12%) = suggested for normal to coarse/resistant texture or when maximum degree of lift is desired
Shade Recommendations The different degrees of controlling dyestuff, start with the shade containing the highest concentration (as shown). Explain that swatches in book show actual result but of course will vary from client to client

Determination of Formulation – 11 Series The different amounts are not due to different recommendations, rather easily mixable ratios . The use of NN is not recommended because the pigment concentration Over 70% white hair does not warrant teh lift that the 11 series provides because there is no pigment to lift through resulting in an undesirable end result when used in that scenario.
Use Goldwell color wheel and Goldwell blueprint for formulation when determining appropriate shade.
The 12 series will deliver more of a pastel blonde due to the smaller contribution of controlling dyestuff On darker levels the 12 series results in a brighter but warmer blonde because there is less control during lifting process 11 series results in a deeper/darker blonde due to the additional controlling dyestuff resulting in a visually darker end result

Neutralights will offer clients with natural darker base levels espresso, mocha and chocolate tones. Clients with darker natural levels often desire lighter tones but are usually left with either too light (blonde) or too warm (red) end results. So this option will give a controlled end result often with no toning necessary. The processing time I shorter due to the controlled lift – Toning is not required. Clients with existing highlights (often done with bleach) can be balanced on their mid-length & ends w/ Colorance Acid Color.
Virgin Hair (no color on hair) Total processing time 30 min 1. Apply to mid-lengths and end first, process 10 min . to 15 min. 2. Apply to scalp area and process for 30 minutes without heat Re-Touch Application 1.
