• Design of content and assessment for units of
competency:
- WRRO3B: Provide a safe working environment.
- WRRO4B: Control store loss/security.
- WRRPL5B: Apply store security systems and
procedures.
- WRRSS4B: Recommend electrical products
and services.

• Prepare and review content.
• Review ease of learner navigation & usability.
• Preparation of pilot report.
• Coordinating roll out to TGG staff currently
completing a PPC Certificate IV in Retail Mgt.
4. What has been developed?
• The 4 units delivered online, designed to
cover all AQTF performance criteria & internal
policies and procedures.
• Online assessment components, incl. multiple
choice quizzes, simulations, paper-based
tasks.
9. Difficulties encountered
• Computer access at stores.
• Time to begin/complete program at work.
• Locking away uninterrupted time at work.
• Lack of ability to discuss content with others.
• Initial problems with technology supporting
some sections of the demonstration.

• Continued strong training/consultancy
partnership with TGG.
• Added services to add to our portfolio.
• Awareness of government funded services
and departments.
• Increased publicity for PPC (and TGG).
11. Benefits to learners
• A different learning approach for staff, from
face-to-face and paper-based training.
• Time saver for some.
• Flexibility to complete at leisure.
• Able to revisit the content/assessment.
12. Future plans
• To expand content and refine assessment:
- use more simulations
- use more images/photos/pictures
• To include more appropriate units onto the
Learning Management System, for inclusion
into accredited programs or one-off sessions.
