A finding aid that adds a viewable structure to a collection.
- Many large, complex collections
- Aleph stores only the collection level descriptive metadata
- Add / edit / delete component level details
- Rosetta 3.0 doesn’t have enough functionality for our
collections.

Go to the EAD Viewer which provides structure for collections.
You can see different levels of the structure map. 3 leves are visible. There can be more. The levels will scroll to the left. A thumbnail from Rosetta will show on the right.Clicking on the thumbnail will show the content of that folder.

Clicking the INFO tab on the upper right will slide into view the existing metadata.
Next,Aleph and Rosetta currently does not handle Collections very well. In the coming releases of Rosetta there are some Collection level capabilities but we had very large, complex collections.We built our own tool, the EAD ToolLet me show you an example
