2. Acknowledgement
We consider ourselves very lucky and honored to have so many
wonderful people lead us through in completion of this international
exposure and travelogue.
To the school president, Sr. Remy Regala Junio, we wish to express our
indebted gratitude, who in spite of being extraordinary busy with her
duties took time out to hear, guide and keep us on the correct path and
allowed us to have our International exposure.
We also express our deepest thanks to Ms. Ma. Bernadette C. Junio, for
taking part in useful decision and giving necessary advices and
guidance; we choose this moment to acknowledge her contribution
gratefully.
It is our growing feeling to place our deepest sense of gratitude to Ms.
Estrella Yu, for the precious guidance and patience all throughout our
trip. We are also expressing our appreciation for the fun moments we’ve
shared.
3. We also wish to extend our gratitude to all our classmate and friends for the
wonderful moment we’ve shared together during our exposure trip. Indeed,
those moments are priceless. Thanks for the stories, jokes and late night
“chitchats” about life. For the friendship that will continue even after our
stay here at St. Paul. In spite of the roadblocks that crop up during our trip
we remain positive and still savor the moment of being together, made it
meaningful and full of fun.
Special thanks also to the hotel managers and staffs who accommodates us
during our ocular visit, for providing us information in this fast and furious
world of hospitality industry and most especially for helping us to hone our
knowledge as we continue to strive in our field.
To Bhorin and Tina, our tour guide in Cambodia and Bangkok, for the useful
information while accompanying us in the beautiful sceneries in their
country, for the friendship and patience when we are not on time (Laughs).
4. To Mama Cynthia, Tatay Boy (Mika’s Parents), Papa Jessie and Mama Celia
(Jeff’s Parents) receive our outpouring gratitude for their unconditional
love and support in all aspects of life. We are indebted to you for
inculcating in us the dedication and discipline to do whatever we
undertake well.
Above all, to our Almighty God who makes all these things possible and
using those people as an instrument to give us your Grace. You’re an
awesome God.

5. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Two different places and different cities: THAILAND (Bangkok
and Pattaya) CAMBODIA (Siem reap). A incomparable
experiences, Amazing hotels and Blast days of excitement,
learning and adventure. An international exposure of a
lifetime.
THAILAND
CAMBODIA
6. BANGKOK THAILAND
Introduction:
With its intense humidity, hedonistic nightclubs and hurly-burly taxiing of tuk-tuks,
Bangkok is an exhilarating attack on the senses. Sukhomvit's malls and gleaming
skyscrapers are just a veneer of modernity for a city firmly rooted in ancient Buddhist
beliefs and traditions.
Things to Do:
Open-air massage and fresh coconut juice between temples keeps you cool and calm
when sightseeing in Bangkok. Arrive early and dress modestly to seek out the dazzlingly
intricate Grand Palace's sacred Emerald Buddha and neighboring Wat Pho's 46-meterlong Reclining Buddha and different Buddhas position.
7. PATTAYA THAILAND
The slow evolution of Pattaya from a sleepy fishing town to a sprawling development
of high-rise coastal resorts began in 1959 when U.S. Army GIs, stationed in the
northeast, came here for R & R. Word spread, and with more U.S. troops arriving to
fight in the Vietnam War, the town became a hot destination for weekend partying.
The impression left by those early visitors accounts for its ill repute today,
propagated by hundreds of go-go clubs, beer bars, and seedy massage parlors along
the beachside.
Tourism boomed in the 1980s, and unchecked resort development was exacerbated
by a lack of infrastructure upgrades -- so much so that beaches became flooded with
raw sewage. Recent years have seen a few civil projects to clean up the bay area with
some success, but environmental work is still needed to improve water quality.
Despite this, Pattaya now supports a collection of large, sophisticated
international resorts. Smaller hotels set in sprawling, manicured seaside
gardens and upscale restaurants dot the landscape. The town is also trying
to create an image as a family destination, expat retirement magnet, and
convention hub -- and it now has the facilities to back this up. Pattaya's
close-knit expatriate community not only is at the forefront in the effort to
clean up the town's image, but also is very active in other local activities,
particularly in charity-related events.
8. Neighboring Jomtien is a popular alternative to Pattaya. Less seedy
surroundings complement the narrow beaches; however, government reports
state that water quality is still under par. Jomtien's best accommodations
are private condominiums, but it does have a few high-quality hotels.
