Friendly, helpful staff, super and nicely decorated large room
with lovely view of the river. As a solo traveler I am used to
being put in "broom cupboards" or rooms with no view
whatsoever except a brick wall opposite, but this one ticked
all the right boxes. The bathroom was very nice too and there
was some very good quality complementary toiletries. Hotel
is well located about five minutes' walk from Canary Wharf
underground and local shopping mall.
Just one thing - I would have appreciated a small safe in the
room for valuables. At the moment you have to take your
valuables to reception and, if I remember rightly, pay for the
use of a safe. Service and food was good but not worth the
price had better food in hotels half the price.
