Celebrating Our Success!! 12 The performance classifications for the state’s accountability model are determined by the following: (a) Achievement - the percentage of students who are performing at criterion levels (minimum, basic, proficient, and advanced) and (b) Growth - the degree to which student performance has improved over time (based on an expected growth value for the school). (c) Achievement and growth are combined to produce the Quality of Distribution Index (QDI) for each school.
