Similarities/Differences Quote: “Small feet, Big feet, here come Pig feet.” The sixties wasn’t just about violence, it was the time of peace, “Make Love, Not War”. There were bands who tried to send messages with their music to the young generation. The bands that that did this were The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Who. These British bands were top hits and were known worldwide. They took over America’s music scene but America took over Britain’s t.v and movie scene. Television shows and movies were big in Britain, like The Flintstones, Star Trek, and also two big stars like Marilyn Monroe and John Wayne. The two countries set aside their differences and took in the similarities they had which was entertainment.
Ethnicities, Color, Etc. Quote: “Red feet, Black feet, Left foot, Right foot.” The greatest and most important change in the sixties was probably that people started seeing one another differently. Men and women had a more complex relationship. Also ethnic groups were making their voices known all around the world. Native Americans participated in Radical movements to change the discriminatory habits of their country. This movement was spread all over Europe and Africa and everyone watched with great respect and interest all around the world.
Your Special No Matter What! Quote: “Slow feet, Quick feet, Trick feet, Sick feet.” Art and music rose when the social attitude, drugs and free spirits changed from the people. All the radical movements were influential to the musicians. In the bands concerts, it was a great advantage to express that they are political activists.
A Lot Of One Thing Quote: “Here come more and more………….And more feet!” when they were sending troops to war there were a lot of protest. There were protests for the right to protect VS. The right to protest. When the protest started, they began in small groups but when people started showing what they are fighting for other people took interest in what they are doing and joined their protest. There were different people that joined in and that became a great point of history.
Ricardo Garibay Jr., 3rd Grade Ricardo Garibay Jr., UPS Worker Interview With Juliee’s Nephew & Brother
Interview Overview Basically, Ricky thought the book was only written for enjoyment, and he Thinks that there is no moral or theme to this story, that its about feet. Rico thinks the book has to do with the different kind of people there is To meet, or the different people that there is out there. Ricky did not have A moral so obviously it doesn’t match with one of the ones we talked about, But Rico’s moral matches the theme about the different ethnicities, color, etc.
