DIVERSE WORKFORCE?
#AskHR is an initiative started by Applicant Tracking System, where we reach
out to Talent Acquisition professionals and discuss with them about the trending
issues of recruitment world.
#Diversified hiring has become the latest buzzword across various organisations. Talking on this theme, we asked
people – “Do you consider having diversified workforce in your organisation?” Also, we tried digging a bit
deeper to know what factors they consider in Diversified hiring. Here is what they have to say:
1. Diversified Workforce Increases Productivity
We consider diversified workforce in our organisation because it increases productivity and there are competitive
advantages also like – increase in creativity within the company. Language diversity helps us to expand into global
market.
Our Parameters for Diversified Hiring
“Customer demand, Overtime of current employee, current employee need help to develop
something, and cost to the company”

2. We are not with heavy workforce to need diversification
No we don’t have hiring of diversified workforce in our organisation as we are not a large company with heavy
workforce. We even don’t hire on regular basis so the need to look for diversified workforce is not applicable.

“Apart from Diversified Hiring, we look for factors like – Experience, Technical Knowledge,
Location and Communication skills of the candidate”

Gender ,Culture, Religion & we even consider differently abled candidates.”
