3. Makeup template
This is a blank face acting as a template for
makeup. I will use this to draw on myself If I
have any unique makeup ideas of my own
from the inspiration I have collected.
4. As the genre of my music video is pop my
makeup will focus on lip colour and eye liner.
Both are strong aspects when applying makeup.
By applying both this conveys bold personality
and confidence. A Strong brow and fake looking
eyelashes make the look more put together and
help with facial structure. As the artist is in the
spot light their features have to have a certain
perfection to them, from the pressure of the
media.

7. As well as makeup, pop artists also like to apply
bright colour to their hair. As the target
audience are young, experimentation with
hairstyles are quite common, pushing the
boundaries. For example, braids, cool hair
accessories and colour.

10. Body template for costume
This is a blank body acting as a template for
costume. I will use this to draw on myself If I
have any unique costume ideas of my own
from the inspiration I have collected.
11. I want the costume for my music video to focus
on a street style mixed with indie to keep it cool
and current as my music video is abstract based.
Bold jewelry and black netting keeps an edgy
image while brightly coloured tops add the
stereotypical pop theme to an outfit. Metallic
Doc Martins and Black chunky boots add style,
while a skirt add femininity. Some sunglasses
also add a cool vibe.

14. Confetti throw
I want to include a confetti throw in my music
video. As my video is abstract, aspects like this
make the video more visual. The shot I am
including the confetti throw, ties in with the
timing of the lyrics, which reinforces specific
words.
15. A crown fits in with the lyrics to my chosen song,
it also adds dominance but as the crown is
feminine it has a fun connotation. I also have a
mic as a prop as lip syncing is involved and it
adds verisimilitude; a realness to the shot. A
mic also has connotations towards a young pop
star image.
