3. The facility is less than 10 years old and was planned with punctilious care to facilitate routine functions, to safeguard materials and maintain efficient order. The staff is small (3). The collection is one of only two Moravian archives in the US.

6. With us, processing, storage and preservation activities take place in the same location which was designed to for open stack browsing. Further more all the activities that are the equivalent to “technical services” take place in the same areas as all activities that are “public” and “reference services.”If one compares the layouts for these different services and their relation to each other in any academic library it is easy to see how distinct designs facilitate distinct functions.It is hard to work in an orderly way when one is fighting the space and when different functions are often colliding.

11. A collection of Lebenslaufen Lebenslauf (German)-Memoir. An (auto) biographical account of the life of a member of the Congregation, which was supposed to give special attention to spiritual struggle and progress. The Choir Helper described the final illness and deathbed scene. The memoir was preserved and read at the departed's funeral.
