2. During a phone screen with a candidate - I noticed you're a member of <some
diversity network>…I am passionate about diversity and wonder if I can partner with you,
to see what other diverse (engineering/marketing/finance) professional organizations are
out there? What other groups I should be aware of? (The intention of this is to incite
conversation and also open the door for further diversity related discussions later in the
recruiting process.)
Resources: - We have a variety of networks, resource groups and communities
available to our employees. For example, we have…(You relate something that mirrors
their diverse professional organization.) …that might be of interest to you.
At the Hire Stage – Mention that your company considers employees to be our greatest
asset. As I stated on our first call, we have a variety of networks, resource groups and
communities available to our employees. I’ll send you information about these if you join
us. (this just gives a great impression)
Follow-up Email Once The Candidate Has Started - As mentioned in previous
discussions, I am sending you information to learn more about our networks, resource
groups and communities at your company
