What Is Blocking Your Success?
1. “What Is Blocking Your Success?”
No matter how old you are, where you are
from or what you do for a living, we all
have one thing in common—a desire to be
successful.
2. SUCCESS
Each person may have their own idea of success, while most
people would equate success with wealth, fame, and
power, others may describe it as reaching a personal
goal, developing a dream, finding their purpose in life, or
simply providing a comfortable lifestyle for their family.
However you define success, it can be achieved but it does
not come easy.
3. MY BUILDING BLOCKS FOR SUCCESS
• FAITH = INTERNAL
• FOCUS = EXTERNAL
• CONFIDENCE = EXTERNAL
Two are external forces and one is internal.
The internal operates from the inside out while
the external operates from the outside in.
4. FAITH
Faith is the foundation for any success you hope
to gain because faith is founded on what you
BELIEVE. Your beliefs are rooted in what you
know, what you have been told, and what you
have experienced.
Tony Robbins says, “Beliefs have the power to create and the
power to destroy.”
5. FOCUS
Focus determines how clearly you see your
objectives and priorities. Perception is key
because it will determine what action, if any, you
will take to move forward in faith or be hindered
by obstacles such as
fear, doubt, confusion, procrastination, and
anxiety.
"Obstacles are normal in every person's life, but you
can overcome the obstacles.“ Obstacles are a
given, but fear is a choice.
6. How to overcome this blockage
• Make a priority of that which you want to see
success.
• Change your internal language to positive.
• Visualize your success and make plans for it.
• Feed your thoughts with information to help you
grow strong.
• Don’t sweat the small stuff.
• Focus on your strengths.
• Journal your accomplishments.
• Practice, practice, practice doing the right thing.
7. CONFIDENCE
• CONFIDENCE is a feeling or belief that you can do
something well or succeed at something.
• Confidence comes from discipline and training.
• Confidence allows you to visualize yourself being
effective and competent.
• Confidence is not the absence of fear, but instead
feeling the fear, and finding your way forward.
• Confidence is not to be confused with arrogance.
When you practice confidence you develop
boldness, courage, self-assurance, self-certainty and
self-esteem.
8. CONCULISION
• Ultimately, what we believe determines what
we perceive.
• What we perceive determines what we
conceive.
• What we conceive gives birth to what we
ACHIEVE!
