13. Food Waste | Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats, Oils, Lipids GohBIO™ is specially designed for the rapid and safe digestion of food waste including: GohBIO™will not “directly” digest beef or pork bones, corn husks, pineapple tops, large fruit pits, lobster claws, paper, wood, cigarettes,, clam or oyster shells, or any inorganic materials like plastic, steel or glass. A initial process is required to breakdown hard organic material.
14. The Micro-organism Technology The final products, after the food waste is metabolized and digested by the micro-organisms, are: Water, CO2, energy for the micro-organisms in the form of ATP molecules, small amounts of organic acids (lactic acid, acetic acid and pyruvic acid), lower molecular weight compounds and polymer-chains. The GohBIO™ process uses aerobic micro-organisms which do not produce methane gas. Methane is one of the most potent greenhouse gases and is only produced under anaerobic conditions.
15. Testing and Compliance GohBIO™ System meets sewer sanitary discharge bylaws across Canada, such as:
16. Commitment to Safety GohBIO™ Equipment GohBIO™ bears the ETL Listed Mark, proof that the product has passed rigorous product safety testing and achieved certification. Patented Manufactured in an ISO 9001 Facility ISO 14001 certified Micro-organisms: Canadian Environmental Protection Agency (CEPA) Canadian Domestic Substance Listing (DSL) Produced locally ISO 14001, 9001

A highly refined formula of microorganisms is used to breakdown organic waste into a bio-fluid which can be safely disposed down the drain, eliminating the waste; and ultimately allowing compliant outflow to return to the regional district ecosystem as water.
1. In GohBIO machine, micro-organisms (MOs) metabolize fats, oils and grease (FOG) into CO2, H2O and fatty acids. The lower molecular weight fatty acids are further metabolized to CO2 and H2O by the indigenous bacteria present in the food waste. 2. MOs remain sticking to the wood chips, grow inside the machine, and degrade & metabolize food waste. 3. Some of MOs get release into the drainage system in very small amounts. And, some of them die over a period of time. Therefore, a regular dosing of MOs is required after every 6-8 weeks. 4. Once they enter into grease trap, they cannot grow optimally because of different environmental conditions such as lower temperature, different pH and higher grease contents in grease traps. Therefore, altering of the contents of grease trap should be non-significant or negligible. However, in order to determine the effect of MOs on grease trap contents, the best way would be to do sampling of the grease trap effluent before starting the GohBio machine and after you install the GohBIO and do sampling again over a period of time. Resulting data from both samples, Before and After, can give you a clear picture of what is happening inside grease trap.
