Food Waste | Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats, Oils, Lipids GohBIO™ is specially designed for the rapid and safe digestion of food waste including: GohBIO™will not “directly” digest beef or pork bones, corn husks, pineapple tops, large fruit pits, lobster claws, paper, wood, cigarettes,, clam or oyster shells, or any inorganic materials like plastic, steel or glass. A initial process is required to breakdown hard organic material.

The Micro-organism Technology The final products, after the food waste is metabolized and digested by the micro-organisms, are: Water, CO2, energy for the micro-organisms in the form of ATP molecules, small amounts of organic acids (lactic acid, acetic acid and pyruvic acid), lower molecular weight compounds and polymer-chains. The GohBIO™ process uses aerobic micro-organisms which do not produce methane gas. Methane is one of the most potent greenhouse gases and is only produced under anaerobic conditions.
