1. Question 3- What kind of institution
might distribute your media product
and why?

2. Universal pictures
• I think that Universal pictures would be the
best distributor for my film. This is because
Universal studios have parents which are
Comcast and NBCUniversal so if Universal
couldn’t do something then either Comcast or
NBCUniversal would be able to produce or
market it.

3. Universal pictures
• Another great thing with Universal picturesthey
own the Odeon so I wouldn’t have to worry
about paying another industry showing it on the,
and I wouldn’t haven’t to worry about how I
would get it into the cinemas and having to pay
extra for it to be shown.
• Universal and their parents own certain TV
programmes around the world so I would be able
to get my film shown across different countries so
they can see it on TV.

4. How they might distribute
I could see Universal pictures advertise my
film on:
• Social media
• On TV adverts

5. Why social media?
• To have my film on social media is is because it is
a quick and easy to get people too what new
films are coming out soon and it’s a cheap and
effective way.
• Another reason why it would be good for my film
to be advertised is because there is a range of
people that use social media (not one particular
age range), which then attracts the audience to
see what is going to be released shortly.

6. Why on TV adverts?
• To have my film shown on TV adverts is because
then more people would then see my film being
advertised and like what they see, so they would
then go to the cinema to view it.
• Another reason as to why advertising on the
television is because the majority of people
watch TV some point of the day so when my film
would get advertised at least once everyone
would see it.
