11. Solar Water Heaters Save Energy Solar water heaters keep the standard of living high while keeping energy consumption down. Solar water heaters use a combination of the sun’s heat and photovoltaic cells to heat water. This example is produced by the German company Guersolar.

14. Recycling is made natural The key to an effective recycling program is that it be as easy for consumers to recycle as possible.

15. Repurposed Waste The decomposing materials create a mini-environment for bacteria which digest the excrement and turn it into hygienic fertilizer in about 6 months.
