The STaR chart is a self-assessment tool for teachers to evaluate their integration and use of technology in the classroom. It measures four key areas: teaching and learning, educational preparation, leadership and infrastructure. According to a 2009/2010 assessment, the campus was at a "developing tech" level overall. To progress further, teachers need to increase their technology skills and incorporate technology into lessons to move towards more student-centered learning. The STaR chart provides a way for teachers and the campus to evaluate technology use and progress towards goals.
