- Instagram is a fast, beautiful and fun way to share your photos with friends and family. Snap a picture, choose a filter to transform its look and feel, then post to Instagram. Share to Facebook, twitter, and Tumblr too – it’s easy as pie. It’s photo sharing, reinvented. Oh yeah, did we mention its free.
- Kevin Systrom: He is responsible for the company’s overall vision and strategy as well as day-to-day operations. Mike Krieger: is the technical lead and co-founder of Instagram. He focuses on building products that bring out the creativity in all of us.
- Home button: the Home button is where all the people you follow’s posts will go. Its your newsfeed. Explore button: The search button you are able to do three things; search people/businesses and search hashtags and explore people based on what you like. Upload: The upload button is where you can upload or take your own pictures and videos. Not only can you upload your pictures and videos, but also add filters, borders and effects to your uploads Activity: There is two things you can do on this tab, one of them is your activity feed and the other is your following feed. The activity feed shows you all your likes, comments and follows that people have done on your post or page. The following is all the activity of the people you are following. It will show what they like, comment or follow. Lastly, your page is last. This is where you can see your entire profile and including your pictures, edit your profile, see how many people you follow or follow you back, see what posts you like, see who to follow and etc. This tab enables you to be able to edit your profile picture, your profile bio and your privacy settings.

- Sample pages continued to the activity page and your own page. Arrow one: Where you are able to see the people you are followings interactions and activity. Arrow two: Your location, this is if you tag your picture location (as explained in the video) where it will create your photo map, so you will know where each picture is taken. Arrow three: Where you are able to follow or unfollow someone. If its your own page, it will say “Edit My Profile” Arrow Four: Where you can access the setting, suggested people to follow, what pictures you like and etc. Arrow five: Your tagged pictures.
- The features of this product include: Over 24 filters to edit pictures: Where you are able to transform your ordinary pictures into something great with the effects, filters and borders. You can upload pictures and videos: Instead of being limited to just pictures, you are allowed to post videos as well. Videos are 15 seconds long: Unlike the video app Vine, where you are only able to post six seconds of video time. Instagram allows you to post fifteen seconds. If you have seen vine, then you’ll know you can do a lot in fifteen seconds. Comment and interact with your friends: You are able to comment on their posts, like their posts, DM them, tag them and follow them. Follow celebrities: Any role models that you have, there’s a good chance that they have an Instagram, if not, then there is probably a fan page of them. You can follow the fan page or their real page (if they have one) and be able to see what they post and interact with them as well. Create a business page, not just personal: If you are really passionate about something, like painting or photography, you can create your own painting, photography and etc. Instagram. You can sell your products, to not just your Facebook friends, but to the whole Instagram users if its popular enough! DM pictures to certain people!: If you want to interact privately you are able to do so in the DM section, where you can select a person or multiple people and create a group conversation. - Where is it located? There are three places that you can find Instagram: App Store- this is located on any Apple product. Google Play Store- this is located on any Windows, Google or Android product. Instagram’s website- you can use the address bar and type in Instagram.com. The only difference with using a web browser for Instagram is that you are only limited to looking at your newsfeed and your own profile. You are unable to post pictures. Its free, no matter where you go! (All the images are hyperlinked, besides the App Store)
