1. Using ProQuest Central
• Find articles from fashion journals like Journal
of Fashion Marketing and Management,
Women's Wear Daily, just - style, Vogue, W,
Harper's Bazaar, Esquire, Flare and many
more.
• Articles may include information on your
fashion designer, as well as current collections
of contemporary designers and brands. You
may also find examples of promotions and
advertising copy.
3. Here is a list of databases filed by subject.
We want to find the database called ProQuest Central, so let’s click
on the “A-Z List.”
4. Scroll down the alphabetical list to ProQuest Central
and click to access it.

You can perform a basic search for an
author, title, publication or keyword.
Let’s do an advanced search to
combine multiple terms.

find complete articles,
not citations.
By searching for WWD in the Publication title
field, we will only find articles from WWD
(Women’s Wear Daily).
We’ll search for an article that contains the terms Alexander McQueen and
design somewhere in its title, text, abstract or other fields.

Notice each result lists the title, author,
publication title, page numbers, and
publication date. It shows where
search terms are used in the article,
