Training on harassment and discrimination prevention is critical to set clear rules and to establish important legal protections. But to remain competitive in today’s diverse and global workplace, organizations must also focus on their culture, and the ability of employees to effectively collaborate. In a diverse workplace, even subtle personal differences (including those not protected by employment laws) impact employee productivity and engagement.
This interactive webinar will be a live, guided demo of ELT’s new online Diversity & Inclusion training course for managers and employees. We will cover how diversity training supports business and cultural goals, discuss the benefits of training beyond legal compliance, and provide a practical overview of diversity training best practices.

Some content is designed for managers and is intended to again build the awareness and skills necessary for managers. As you know, managers and organizational leaders play a critical role in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. It is incredibly important that they get the very best in terms of information, explanation and training.
Here you can see a high level overview of the course’s architecture. We see here the manager version. As you can see, it starts with the Diversity Fundamentals vignette. This vignette is seen by both managers and employees and lasts 30 minutes. If you were an employee, the course would end here and you would go on to the conclusion and certification. If you are a manager, you advance to the Diversity Advanced vignette which focuses on information and skills for your managers. Naturally, the course includes your Diversity Policies and/or Diversity Statement and contact information for employees with questions or comments.
