The document describes a travel app called Friendly Planet Trips that allows users to see where their Facebook friends have traveled on a map and get travel recommendations. The app addresses common problems with other travel sites like unreliable reviews, not wanting to join travel networks, and misleading photos. It provides information on the team that created it, their capabilities in allowing social exploration, commercial potential through licensing and ads, and links to their Facebook page.

So i was on my way to an awesome trip to vietnam, i booked my trip online - found this awesome 4 star hotels, had huge beautiful pictures and the reviews were 10 out of 10. accross the board - affordable too. however, when i got there, the 4 stars meant something different in Vietnam, the pictures were actually photoshopped and for some reason the reviews were misleading because my standards are different than what a stranger ’ s standards are. i thought i could trust complete strangers and now i have no idea what to do - my trip is ruined. luckily once i posted that on facebook, my friend suggested a nearby hotel and in no time i had a great accommodation that i knew i could trust. if i had his help in the first place, i wouldn ’ t be in this mess.
