National Weight Control Registry Attributes The National Weight Control Registry is made up of approximately 5,000 individuals who have lost more than 30 pounds of body weight and kept it off for at least one year. Average weight loss for the group is 66 pounds and average length of time keeping it off is 5.5 years. These slides simply illustrate some of the attributes of the Registry members by showing how many Registry members out of one hundred members, share a particular attribute. The hope is that others can emulate some of these attributes that have proven successful to achieve weight loss success for themselves.
