This document provides instructions for editing wall properties in a floor plan. Once a wall has been drawn in the floor plan, its properties can be opened by double-clicking the wall. The wall length and direction are automatically calculated from the floor plan, but the wall height and other data should be edited. The user must choose the wall type, R/U factor, construction type, and a more detailed R/U factor calculation may be required depending on the wall type.

Wall design
Once a floor plan wall has be drawn, the wall properties may be opened and edited by double-left clicking the wall
in question.
Wall length and direction is automatically calculated from the floor plan drawing. Other data such as wall height
should be edited. Choose the wall type and the the associated R/U factor as well as the construction type.
Depending on the wall type, a more detailed ASHRAE approved R/U factor calculation may be required.
