3. What aims and purposes of the
network?
✔ Start and improving Danish
✔ Career development – job & education
✔ Supporting people: about the culture, specific problems,
and awareness about the geography.
✔ Gathering our resources from multicultural
backgrounds – positive thinking.
✔ Sharing knowledge: small and important details about
CV, job interview etc
✔ Updates: Positive as well as negative experiences

4. Possible Network Activities
● Social Activities
– Friday social Night – meet, talk, dinners, feel part of smthg
– Volunteer activities (networking, improve CV, danish)
– Visits to danish language coffee centres
● Personality Development
– Invite resource persons from unions, assoc., HR.
– To build self confidence/share experiences – reduce
stress (HIV/AIDs org here in DK – doing this)

network be?
● Job/Career Opportunities
– Invite successful ex-Newcomers' – share success stories, ideas,

– Exchange idea/experiences from hosts
– Share job searching methods (contacts, etc)
● Online communication (mail list, facebook, linkedin, forum)
● Copenhagen Host Program help – access to venues, our
participation in or at a meeting or an event, mediation with
contacts within the range of the programs cooperation
partners for guest lecturers.
