Independent artist and upcoming reggae superstar, Messieh from Messieh and the Messagers, is
releasing his brand new single track called Unity In The Community.

living face of the reggae world. Keeping the spirits of this Jamaican-origin music genre alive, London
based budding superstar, Messieh, is all set to release his own single titled Unity In The Community.
Born a Levi and raised in Mt. Salem, Jamaica, Messieh is a part of his own band named Messieh and
Messagers. The band had noticeably performed at the Surface Festival in 2012.
Known as Messieh the New Testament, his songs have a deeper sense of meaning in them which is a
resultof the artist’sversatilitywithhisroots,reality,style andculture.Messiehlikestoexplore different
genres and Unity in the Community shall prove his mastery over the reggae genre. After migrating to
Englandwithhismotherin 2000, at the age of 20, he was struck with a bird’s eye view of the system of
colonial mastersandthe savage mannerinwhichthey treated Jamaica and Jamaicans. Using the power
of hiswordsand addingreggae musictothem, he createdhisownsongs. Unity in the Community is the
result of one such chain of thoughts.
Messieh’s songs pass judgements on spiritual wickedness in high and low places. Having worked
alongside other reggae giants including Tony Rebel, Queen Ifrica, Etana, Luciano and Iwanye amongst
many others, Messieh’s first LP, Revolution Time, shall be hitting the online stores soon.
