forms for use in Twinspace.

 Using google docs you
 can create a form and
then embed it in a blog.
If you include some
required questions you
  can ensure you can
   compare answers.

  • 11. Children Blogging With young children using a different platform for blogging leads to potential problems. Many require email addresses, if pupils are in supervised they may easily move to other less suitable blogs. Twinspace blogs are a great safe and secure platform for blogging.
  • 12. Using google docs to create forms for use in Twinspace. Using google docs you can create a form and then embed it in a blog.
  • 13. If you include some required questions you can ensure you can compare answers. The results from pupils. The questions were answered on Twinspace on a form embedded from google docs.

Editor's Notes

  1. Creating a project the develops pupil collaboration. Teachers are collaborating sharing ideas etc. Aim was to get the pupils to realise that they are collaborating and sharing not passive observers whose contributions are only made by the teacher.
  2. Covering all these areas Internet Safety is always the starting point. Deciding which tools can be used by pupils and the skills they will develop from these. Parent involvement Children with SEN Whole school involvement
  3. If this is the case we can do something about that. However as educators we need to ensure we are using the technology as a teaching tool and are always asking ourselves what have the children learnt from this? Assessment- does eTwinning / Twinspace enable assessment and can it be used as examples of pupil progress. Twinspace can be an online storage of pupils progress, fantastic evidence.
  4. Why Twinspace and not all the other web 2.0 tools and sites? Acknowledge problems but be clear it is safe and manageable. Accessibility is essential for all never crashes always opens in school stores work securely. Safe for pupils and can allow be used for lessons on even the most basic of skills such as logging on and off. Things can be embedded once logged on children can access everything you want them to.
  5. In attempt to make Twinspace a similar platform to our VLE i have taught the children to use the pupil corner to upload work use I used the tools to create a forum, to put in a place for the children to upload their homework.
  6. Discuss the way in which young children can actually use Twinspace.
  7. Open google go to google docs and create a form embed it into a blog on your own Twinspace.
