8. CARE AND MANGEMENT OF BULLS Breeding bulls require proper care and maintenance any defect in management may spoil the health and sexual performance of the bulls. Care includes feeding, Watering, Clearing, Washing, brushing, exercise, diagnosis and treatment of animals, regulation of timings of semen collection and maintenance of paddocks. Breeding bulls need prophylactic vaccinations against R.P, B.Q, and H.S. Quarterly test the bulls for diseases like Brucellosis, Vibriosis, Leptospirosis, Listeriosis, Tuberculosis, Johne’s disease and IBR-IPV etc.

19. RECORDING SYSTEM The details of semen collection, processing (freezability) and semen characteristics bull wise should be tabulated in the work sheets as shown in the appendix. Number of doses produced date wise and their storage particulars along with dispatch should be recorded in a register for storage and dispatch.
