1. Energy Independence Partners , an environmental and renewable
energy company, purchased a modular decentralized wastewater
treatment system from ItN Nanovation, a German Nano-technology
company.
2. EIP’s new business called “Wetworks” got started by
launching a test pilot site in Carlisle, Iowa for their new
product, the MBBR Filtration Container.
3. Energy Independence Partners is successful because they have discovered
affordable ways to assist companies and small communities with their
costly water and waste water issues.
4. Our organization (WCEDC) helped EIP become a success in
Iowa by partnering them with an existing company (Cemen
Tech) to manufacture their new product.
5. WCEDC helped EIP open “Wetworks” by securing $589,000 from the
State of Iowa, finding a local manufacturer, identifying customers, and
engaging the public and media.
