2. Ms. Okerlund
began her career in the real estate industry in 1994 performing
national title operations. During her seven years at her first national title company, Ms.
Okerlund became a leader in the management and underwriting of complex
subdivision and commercial development transactions. Upon her matriculation from
Western State University, College of Law, Ms. Okerlund began her tenure with Fidelity
National Title, expanding on her development strengths into national, multi-state
commercial and subdivision title operations.

At Fidelity, Ms. Okerlund served as a senior commercial title officer and underwriter,
and was instrumental in the growth of the Major Accounts Division into one of the
most profitable specialized divisions in the FNF family. Her entrepreneurial spirit and
drive for continued growth led her management positions at other title companies,
and later to a partnership with three industry veterans to acquire a Southern California
based underwritten title agency. Leaving the partnership in 2012, Ms. Okerlund’s desire
to return her focus to commercial and development work has happily led to her return
home to Fidelity National Title's Major Accounts Division where she is eager to serve
the commercial and development community focusing on business development and
expansion. Ms. Okerlund is a licensed attorney admitted to the California State Bar.

5. Our History
In 1848, a notary public and searcher of records named C.V. Gillespie
launched in San Francisco the company that would eventually become
Fidelity National Title Insurance. The launch of Gillespie’s business
coincided with the discovery of gold in the American River near San
Francisco and the resulting surge in demand for land in the area.
During the devastating San Francisco earthquake and fire of 1906, employees
and wives of Fidelity National Title’s predecessor company saved the title plant
and other important property records. The documents become an invaluable
resource when San Francisco’s City Hall and the Hall of Records were destroyed
in the disaster. In 1920, Gillespie’s company was founded as the Western Title
Insurance Company.
Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, which would eventually purchase
Western Title in 1987, began doing business in Nebraska in 1961. By
1981, Fidelity National Title was ranked the 48th largest title insurance
underwriter in the United States. In 1984, Fidelity National Title Insurance was
sold to its present holding company, Fidelity National Financial Inc. (FNF), one of
the nation’s leading Fortune 500 companies.
Fidelity National Title is dedicated to providing specialized title and closing
