Foreword
A ir thick with dust is filling every inch of his chest. Muf-
fled noises of battle row makes his armor vibrating.
Coldness of the cave where he hid himself makes his hands sha-
king. But he feels neither fear nor unease. What the Knight feels
is sweet calmness and pure clarity. Now nothing will stand on
his way to fulfill his dreams. Impetuous feeling of enlightenment
struck him suddenly. With glimpses of eternity he acknowledged
mystery, truth that he was so fiercely looking for all of his life.
The Only Truth. The Knight believed that before his eyes arose
mythical Philosopher’s Stone. Templar’s red cross on his armory
far more important to him than any other symbols, shone proudly
in fragile rays of light. He actually wasn’t interested in conqu-
ering Unbelievers nor plundering. His participation in The Fo-
urth Crusade was just a cover. In that terrible hot April 1204 he
and other members of secret society conquered walls of city of
Constantinople, capital of the Byzantine Empire, just to find the
Only Truth. Knowledge which gives those who posses it, power to
change the world. His world. Name of that Knight was Robert de
Ridefort, son of Templars’ Grand Master, who was secretly sent
to find precious knowledge among treasures of the East brutally
robbed by crusaders. Since that day his name has been forgotten
for ages and his story became a mystery. Until today.
By the decision to write this book stood a deep need to share
5. 1 The Only Truth
precious knowledge. Truth which suddenly appeared before our
eyes just as it did before that Knight. We’ve heard his story. So-
mehow it has survived and has been found. It is not public. Kept
enviously by the group of very powerful people. As we moved
back to that moment, we risked our lives learning it. What the
Knight wrote was unbelievably simple. We had that truth before
our eyes all the time, yet we didn’t see it. Wisdom which was de-
eply hidden in us as it is hidden in you now.
It is not a book about becoming a millionaire. You are one alre-
ady. It is a guide how to discover a millionaire in yourself. We
would like to tell you what it is like to see the world always in a
good mood, smiling back at you. How to have a million of creati-
ve thoughts and sweet clearness of mind. It is possible. During our
work on this book we have learned much about ourselves. It has
changed the way we see the reality.
In the past, when people were far closer to the mystical part of
life, religion was ahead of reason, and spirit more important than
matter, it was much easier to understand mystery. Yet this great
wisdom was known only for a few, who kept it hidden very de-
eply. Because people knew importance of The Only Truth they
had sought it all their lives. At that times, it was an unbelievable
treasure, source of wealth and power and that’s the reason why it
was so carefully preserved. This Knowledge hidden in teachings,
religious texts, passed through centuries by secret organizations
is now accessible. Knowledge which has helped people to achieve
personal happiness and prosperousity for centuries. We can use
it.
6. Foreword 1
Today we are hardly able to feel that almost religious enlighten-
ment, experienced by The Knight. It is much harder for us to un-
derstand this basic truths and mystery. Nowadays, we hardly belie-
ve in miracles. We don’t see the spiritual part of life anymore. We
can’t count on even a little moment of privacy, single cave, clarity
of our mind. The Knight wouldn’t achieve such extraordinary wis-
dom if he lived in our times. There is too much information. Our
mind is much too often flooded with garbage. We can’t find the
right way to read our desires and acknowledge our abilities. Mo-
dern society has given us more freedom to express ourselves than
at any other time in history. We start to think as individuals so dif-
ferent from other people. But it is a delusion. No matter what we
do we are representatives of the species that can’t live without a
society. We are social animals. It is the core of our humanity. Even
though we are seemingly completely different personalities, with
various personal goals, visions of future and motives we are made
of the same clay, we are thrown by the same category of feelings
and desires. The greatest challenge for all philosophers and thin-
kers in the history of human kind is to seek something that binds
people, something that is common, rather than particular. Theory
that describes everything. There is such truth.
There are no easy recepies for life. Some of them may look very
attractive, they can be presented as recently discovered but all of
them appear from somewhere. This is a simple guide about being
happy and successful. Constructed by puzzles of wisdom found in
various places and different times. Our society has much stron-
ger bindings with the past that we have ever supposed. We live
7. 1 The Only Truth
completely different life in comparison to the past, but we are the
same people.
If You were asked to tell the only and most important truth abo-
ut life, being happy and successful, what would it be? This is an
investigation for the basic truths that are common for all of us no
matter of origin, culture and race. In the name of those who have
no faith, lost it or just reject the idea of God’s existence. It is a
recepie for bringing wealth, strength and happiness by our own
effort, using the most powerful tool in the universe - our mind
and will. Receipt for being happy and prosperous. Secret of magic
rules to become a millionaire. In this book we will try to find a
path that is common for the greatest civilizations in the history of
human kind. The one and the most important truth about life is the
mystery hidden beneath words and practice, between sentences of
this book. There are extraordinary similarities in religions and te-
achings of West and East. Studying them we can make a great step
to find foundations of what binds people, that common purpose.
The Only Truth.

Chapter I
Collecting the evi-
dence of Magic
In this chapter You will:
• discover magic, open your eyes on new side of life
• believe that there is a positive energy around you
and therefore possibility of an intimat change in
your life
• make your dreams come true by welcoming positi-
ve energy into your life
• learn secrets of the most powerful tool in the uni-
verse - human mind
T here is magic in our life. Magic described by spirituali-
ty, non-material reality, positive energy, love and God.
Miracles? They happen even if we don’t believe in them. They
occur naturally as an expression of love, they mean life. Every
day we are experiencing this positive power, watching extraordi-
nary life beings, feeling surrounding us energy. Discovering this
vibrations by yourself will immediately open many opportuni-
ties. In chapters below we will try to find glimpses of such magic
in our lives and explain using ancient wisdom and teachings of
great, enlightened minds how to use energy deeply stored in us.
9. 1 The Only Truth
The undiscovered capacity of our mind - the greatest tool in the
universe. This energy can gain a form of love, Divine Spirit and
other spiritual form within human soul. The core of our existence.
Led by words written by Templars we start to experience new, better
living. We start to feel our heart beating, birds singing and solutions
instead of misery. We can actually feel the magic of life. We felt a
deep need to share it and see if we are not alone in that experience.
During our work we have received dozens of testimonies for positi-
ve energy. Our friends, family, friends of our friends, and also their
friends, people who we have never met, all of them send us emails
with proofs of miracles and a blessing change. They are more im-
portant then any book or theory ever written. Because it is a real
life. Hereunder we would like to share with you some of that stories.
11. 1 The Only Truth
Have you heard about survivors of most recent earthquakes in
Chile or Haiti? In Port-au-Prince soon after Haiti’s disaster re-
scue team found young brother and sister who had been buried
for seven days, two stories under the flattened three-story buil-
ding. In the town of Jacmel, 27 miles south of Port-au-Prince,
Elisabeth Joassaint, 23-day old baby girl, was found laid amid
the rubble without without water, food and fresh air for eight
days when finally she was miraculously found alive by re-
scue teams. Isn’t that magic? Isn’t it a God’s favor? What abo-
ut other disastrous catastrophes. Just google “miraculously su-
12. Foreword 1
rvived” and there will be hundreds of such examples. There is
countless evidence of positive, healing and rescuing energy.
What is that positive energy which gives a helping hand in li-
fe-threatening situations? What makes one person happy and
prosperous with generous gifts of luck while the other is lost in
black hole of bad luck without hope to exit? How does it work?
To find out what truth lies beneath these questions people must
carry out the work on their own, by acknowledging the exi-
stence of this positive energy and by identifying it and welco-
ming in their life. Remove obstacles made by yourself to the
awareness of love’s presence. We shouldn’t wait for a signi-
ficant event in our lives, an event that would shake our world.
Now is the best time for a change.
We are accustomed to laziness. Habits of old thinking rule our world.
Switching your consciousness into mysticism will give you power
to deal with any adversity, you will endure any tough period of time
in your life. It will convert hostile environment and your enemies
into your friends and light any darkness which covers your path of
life. Before you start opening on what is called magic, love or spi-
rit, the most important lesson is that it is not a shelter, it won’t pro-
tect you from pain and tough decisions. It will give you strength to
solve even the toughest problem, wings to see brighter side of life,
and better understanding of your own existence, source of energy
13. 1 The Only Truth
which makes everything possible. Having an access to this power
is synonymous with a more intense life, wider and sharper con-
sciousness, more profound understanding of our own existence. It
lies at our gates. But we are separated from it, we cannot assimilate
it. Except abnormal moments, we hardly know that it is beside us.
This book is not only a roadmap for success. It is an exchange a repla-
cement of darkness into light, of ignorance into understanding. It is a
handbook of you – a guide that helps you find the way to true yourself.
The Only Truth lies in you.
It is the wisdom of confidence.
Can you imagine what it means to have no cares, no worries, no
anxieties, but merely to be perfectly calm and quiet all the time? It
is possible. And you are the only one who is able to teach yourself
that state of mind. That is what time is for, to learn just that and
nothing more. Do not be afraid of this statement. If you learn what
the fear is, you will be no longer in the dark side of life. Choose
what you want. Light or darkness, knowledge or ignorance are
yours, but neither of them at the same time. In union lies the truth.
Everything that is not real must disappear, as darkness disappears in
light, so ignorance fades away when knowledge dawns. We need to
clear our thoughts, free our minds from the habits of negative thin-
king. Only an open mind, perception without deceit, will be more
helpful in the search for truth, the only honest searching. Truth is
in you. It can be neither lost nor sought nor found, recognized or
14. Foreword 1
unrecognized, real or fake in your eyes. If you hide it, it becomes
unreal because you have hidden it and surrounded it with fear.
To begin a journey to the Only Truth you need to step out of the
darkness, thick air of your thoughts, give up anxiety, face your fear
and welcome light. The more you look at fear the less you see it,
and what it conceals becomes clearer. As long as you perceive the
body as your reality, that long you will perceive yourself as lonely
and deprived. And that long you will perceive yourself as a victim of
sacrifice, justified in sacrificing others. The key lies in your mind.
You have spent your life in bringing truth into illusion, reality into
fantasy and walked the way of dreams to a yet deeper sleep. Each
dream has led to other dreams, and every fantasy which seemed to
bring light into the darkness but made the darkness deeper. You fell
into that blackness so completely that you could hide from truth
forever in complete insanity. But the light is still in you. Wake up.
15. 1 The Only Truth
Human Mind - tool of great
power
What kind of magical machinery do we have in our heads?
What sort of miracles is it capable of? Even that we have disco-
vered how our brain works, science still hasn’t explored our min-
d’s potential. Strange and imponderable is the power of human
mind! We do not understand the method by which it uses every
circumstance, every individual, every physical thing within its re-
ach, as a means of transmuting desire into its physical counter-
part. Our brain is a powerful tool. It is predisposed to faith expe-
riences and is able to communicate with much invisible energy.
What we think and how we respond to the world and induce ac-
tions, comes from consciousness. It is the level which engages us
in the world, and is capable of responding to deeper and hardly
accessible layers of our mind - subconsciousness and supercon-
sciousness. Although observable, our awareness - finite forms of
activity such as thinking, mental images experiencing and reacting
to emotions, is in fact far beyond that. Sensations, thinking and
emotions are not actually intentional in the first place. Conscio-
usness is a state of pure Is. It is not interested in traveling in time,
as thinking usually is. Life, Being, is present. Consciousness is
the ego, it made us lifeless perceivers instead of lively creators.
16. Foreword 1
We perceive ourselvesas as we wish to be, rather than
we are.
There is no other place to live in our world than Reality. Our ego
supplies us with knowledge of ourselves that seems to be the only
true one. Ego is on a different level than other part of our psy-
che, and does not understand it. It can ask questions but remains
unreliable as a source of true answers. In other words, we cannot
perceive ourselves correctly, we have no true image of ourselves.
Word “image” is always perception-related and symbolic, it is
not a product of learning. Perception involves selectivity at eve-
ry level as well as continual process of accepting and rejecting,
organizing and reorganizing, shifting and changing the focus.
You feel because you think about yourself to be in a speci-
fied state of mind. When you feel tired, it is because you jud-
ged yourself as capable of being tired. In reality, you are
not really capable of it, but you are very capable of weary-
ing yourselves. Constant judgement is a real torment, even
of your own feelings. That’s why you need to give it up.
Breathe in and breathe out, feel, don’t analyze it, just
live. We can change our world, but not everything depends on
us.
17. 1 The Only Truth
Judgment is a kind of reassurance, it gives us false belief that we
can be sole authors of reality. You also fear that someday judg-
ment will be used against you will also use the term. To wha-
tever extent it is used against you, it is due only to your belief
in its efficacy as a weapon of defense for your own authority.
Our thoughts can move world but not inspire it. This is a
job for subconsciousness.
It is the repository of our previous learnings, experiences and beliefs
about the world, the storehouse of all your thoughts and feelings.
As subconscious mind, is referred to as soul in spiritual literatu-
re, superconscious mind can be referred to as God, or Universal
Mind, the Source of all power, all knowledge, all love, peace. It is
the previously described positive energy, magical part of our life.
The superconscious mind is omnipresent, one mind expressing
through all, and each human mind is only an individualized center
of consciousness of this supreme mind. Contrary to the popular
opinion, your mind is not in your body, your body is in your mind.
The only limitations of yours are the ones you keep in
your brain, especially deep inside of a subconscious mind.
18. Foreword 1
The way to overcome them is by aligning your conscious and sub-
conscious minds with the superconscious one, engaging it. It re-
quires changing the beliefs you hold in your subconscious mind
about yourself or about the world-around you. Because they are
faulty in general. Change the way you perceive yourself and you
will change the way subconsciousness works. Freud emphasised
that by conceiving different levels in his view of the psyche as inde-
finitely irreconcilable. Each one wants different things and obeys
different principles. Consciousness is the one which perceives or
is aware of impulses from both the subconsciousness and the su-
perconsciousness. It is the level of perception, but not knowledge.
Neuro-Theology, the field of science which specializes in explo-
ring superconsciousness, proved that spiritual experience of fe-
eling one with universe and loosing sense of self does happen
factually and causes brain activity. It blocks areas in the front
of brain (in parts that are involved in concentration) and in the
parietal lobe (one of the parts of the brain that helps a person
to orient in a three-dimensional space). Using the newest brain
imaging technology, researchers have been analyzing what my-
stics call nirvana and Christians describe as a state of grace.
The subconscious mind consists of a field of consciousness, in
which every impulse of thought that reaches the objective mind
through any of the five senses, is classified and recorded and
may be recalled or withdrawn at any time. The subconscious
mind works day and night, through method of procedure, unk-
nown to human. It draws upon the forces of infinite intelligen-
ce for the power with which it voluntarily transmutes one’s de-
19. 1 The Only Truth
sires into their physical equivalent, making use, always of the
most practical media by which this end may be accomplished.
You cannot entirely control your subconscious mind, but
you can voluntarily hand over to it any plan desire, or purpo-
se you wish to transform into a concrete form.
There is plenty of evidence to support the belief that the sub-
conscious mind is the connecting link between the infinite mind
of man and Infinite Intelligence. Just follow the history of pe-
ople’s beliefs and religion. Along with examples of deceit from
sorcerers there were real miracles. Isn’t it evidence for power of
our mind? Subconsciousness is the intermediary through which
one may draw upon the forces of Infinite Intelligence at will. It
is at the top of our head’s management. It is the one who gi-
ves orders to our consciousness and whole world in a form of
vibrations. But it works in the highest skyscraper at the upper
floor where access for ordinary people is strictly prohibited. If
you want to get in touch with it you must be like Tom Cruise in
Mission Impossible. You have to find a tricky way, finest tools
and use all your abilities to complete this mission. Such as faith.
It is the head chemist of the mind. If you have faith, and strong
creative thought, the subconscious mind instantly picks up it’s
vibration and translates it into its spiritual equivalent. Faith is
a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirma-
tion or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through
20. Foreword 1
the principle of auto-suggestion. The emotions of faith, love
and sex are the most powerful of all the major positive emo-
tions. When the three are mixed, they have the effect of “co-
loring” the vibration of thought in such a way that it instantly
reaches the subconscious mind, where it begins to take shape.
Human emotions both rule the world and establish destiny of the ci-
vilization. People are not influenced less by reason in their actions
than by feelings. The creative faculty of the mind is set into motion
entirely by emotions, and not by cold reason. Emotions are a primi-
tive signaling system by which your brain tells you if you’re doing
things that enhance or diminish your survival chances. Its functio-
ning consists of the activity of the five senses, as well as thinking
and emotions that are related to what the senses sense. Control
of the mind, through the power of will, is possible for everyone.
Control comes from persistence and habit.
There is no other road to genius than through voluntary
self effort.
“The mind is its own place, and in
itself
Can make a heaven of Hell, a hell
of Heaven”.
~ John Milton
21. 1 The Only Truth
You believe what you project. This is an immutable law
of the mind in this world.
By obeying the law of mind you can arrive at diametrically op-
posed results. Everything depends on what you think. You will
finally become what you worship when you think, live, move
and become one with this infinite vibration of positive ener-
gy. Whatever you may want will spontaneously and effortles-
sly appear in your life, often instantaneously after the thought
occurred to you. As you think a thought and next moment you
see it manifested in front of you, you feel as if the world around
you is only a projection of your thoughts, which, in fact, it is.
You have in fact absolute control over but one thing, and
that is your thoughts.
This is the most significant and inspiring of all facts known to
human! If you fail to control your mind, you may be sure you
will control nothing else. You cannot change your mind by
changing your behavior, you actually can change your mind.
22. Foreword 1
How to use magic for a suc-
cessful change?
Discovering positive energy as well as its potential and pre-
sence is one thing. The other one, requiring our effort in big-
ger extend, is to get to know how to use it. Learn a secret how
to make miracles come true and how to change your life. It is
a surprisingly easy teaching, more complicated in implemen-
ting than learning. All begins in the fact that we are all surro-
unded by the energy. In different times, cultures, and religions
it had various names and different definitions. It was nature it-
self, polytheistic gods, karma, monotheistic God. It embodies in a
form of life beings, nature, man. We have an access to this ener-
gy. We can make it change the world in the way we anticipate.
Start from changing your thinking, the way you perceive the
world. One of the principles by which we all should live is Chri-
stian The Golden Rule to behave toward others as you would have
them behave toward you. You cannot behave appropriately unless
you perceive accurately, because appropriate behavior depends on
the lack of level confusion. It always results in variable reality
testing, and therefore in variability in behavioral appropriateness.
In learning to escape from the illusions you have made, your great
debt to each other is something you must never forget. Whenever
you react egotistically towards each other, you are throwing away
23. 1 The Only Truth
the graciousness of your indebtedness, and the holy perception
it would produce. The way to perceive for Golden Rule behavior
is to look out from the perception of your own holiness, and per-
ceive the holiness of others. The emptiness engendered by fear
should be replaced by love. All destructive thinking is dangero-
us. You should fill your minds with love because otherwise your
thought _may turn against you instead of being in your favor.
Picture this rule by an example. I have a friend Mary, who has a
very tough character. She always says what she thinks, no matter
who is she talking to, a friend, complete stranger or employee.
She is beautiful, very ambitious, independent, but not success-
ful. She accomplished much in advertising but she is not satis-
fied. Her personal life is different from what she has expected.
Once she said to me.
“Tell me straight. Why people don’t like me? I don’t give
a damn about it, but I’m curious”.
“I think that is the reason - because you don’t give a
damn about it”, I replied. “But maybe deep inside you
actually care?”
“Don’t be ridiculous”, she answered. “What do I need
people for?”
“Maybe to be happy?”, I asked.
“I see no connection”.
“People shape reality, everyone their own, but when they
meet it mixes and influences one another. You can’t pre-
vent it from happening, whether you like it or not. What
you can do is just to try to create the best possible image
24. Foreword 1
of yourself in the world of people you meet. True image.
You as you want to be not as you want other people to
see you”, I tried to explain.
“But it is absolutely not my concern! ”, Mary said.
“No, you create a certain image of yourself and you stick
to it, even that it is not true you. You want to be seen
as an unapproachable fortress, because you are afraid.
You fear that someone could hurt you as they did in the
past. But denying influence of other people on your life
is insanity. Only by presenting true you in relations with
other people will help you to accomplish it, and be hap-
py.”
She didn’t answer, just slammed the door.
I hadn’t heard a word from her for a long time. But one day she
called and said that I was right and she was going to change her
life. She realized that something in her behavior was wrong. She
missed something. She thought that only by assertiveness and self-
independence she would reach success. That the world is cruel, and
she must act appropriate and shouldn’t have any sentiments towards
others as others behave towards her. But it was a wiscious circle. I
hope that with a help of this book she and others will succeed in it.
25. 1 The Only Truth
“Men are not prisoners of fate, but
prisoners of their own minds.”
~ Franklin D. Roosevelt
Seek answer in your mind, the greatest and the most powerful unk-
nown in our universe. What people are not aware is that we are all
allowed to use this tool. Our world filled with this universal power
adapts to the nature of the thoughts we hold in our minds. It converts
them into reality. Yet only few realize that. Only handful believe in it.
In consequence, only few obtain happiness and success in their life.
The abilities man now possesses are only shadows of his real
strengths.
All of our functions are equivocal and open to a question
or doubt. This is because we are not certain how we will
use them. People prefer to believe that their thoughts can-
not exert real control because they are literally afraid of them.
Many psychotherapists attempt to help people who are afraid by de-
preciating the power of the wish. They persuade them that they can
think whatever they want without any real effect at all. You believe
that you are responsible for what you do, but not for what you think.
The truth is that you are responsible for what you think because it is
26. Foreword 1
only at this level that you can exercise choice. The truth is that the-
re are no idle thoughts. All thinking produces a form at some level.
What you do comes from what you think.
You cannot separate yourself from the truth by “giving” autonomy
to behavior. Both miracles and fear come from thoughts, and if you
were not free to choose one, you would not also be free to choose
the other. By choosing the miracle you reject fear. In religions a me-
dium for miracles is a prayer which is a way of asking for something.
It is essential to remember that only mind has the ability to create.
The body does not really exist except as a learning device for the
mind. This learning device is not subject to errors of its own becau-
se it was created, but not creating. It should be obvious then, that
correcting the creator, or inducing it to give up its miscreations, is
the only application of creative ability which is truly meaningful.
Thought cannot be made into flesh except by belief, since thought
is not physical. Yet thought is communication, for which the body
can be used. This is the only natural use to which it can be put.
27. 1 The Only Truth
“Men are not prisoners of fate, but
prisoners of their own minds.”
~ Franklin D. Roosevelt
Our thoughts shape our reality. We are able to change our
life in the way we dream.
But to put this truth in motion we have to obey rules.
At first we should have a clarity of what we want. It can’t be a
wish nor hope but It should be a very strong de-
sire . The stronger it is the more influence on reality it has.
When a man is determined enough to do whatever it takes to ful-
fill his dream, he will accomplish it. Of course on condition that
he will follow principles revealed in following chapters. I cannot
be an action at any costs. It should be in friendship with positi-
ve energy, much more giving than taking. If one wants his de-
sire to fulfill he needs to visualize it, learn it shapes in mind,
see it as already existing thing. Feel growing thirst to have it.
Determination to be in the position he dre-
ams about. People wish many things, they often visualize it,
but it is more of a faint feeling rather than certainty of posses-
sing thing which already exists. Assurance that the
28. Foreword 1
piece of our future has already been accomplished and it is
only up to us to come to that point of life. This sureness comes
from unshakable faith. Faith in oneself , own abili-
ties, is a favor of heaven, people’s goodwill and our future that
will come. Break the worry habit and start to believe in your-
self. Who will vote on you if not you? Self-confidence makes
you stand like a rock on the fate’s road. Faith gives you fuel for
your persistence in standing back of a single desire. If your will
is strong enough life will find way to offer you op-
portunity to realize your dreams .
When the time comes, it appears often in a different form, and
from a different direction we have expected. Sometimes, it ap-
pears in a form of misfortune, or temporary defeat. Perhaps this
is why so many fail to recognize the opportunity. What is also
important on our way to become successful is that we should ra-
diate our positive energy around. Tolerance, and an
open mind are practical necessities of the dreamer of to-
day. Those who are afraid of new ideas are doomed before they
have started. Never has the time been more favorable for the pio-
neers than at present, with such wide access to sources and infor-
mation, with so much freedom of being who you really want nor
with a helping hand of superior, improved every day technology.

Chapter II
Experts’ statements
In this chapter You will:
• learn that rulership of thoughts in our life is scienti-
fically proven
• discover what is common in teachings of the gre-
atest minds in the history of human kind in subject
of means to attain personal happiness and success
• learn what kind of mysteries were the secret gathe-
rings so determined to preserve through ages
T here are truths in ancient wisdom so powerful that can move
world but they won’t change your life unless you truly want it.
You will learn that you are not the only one in the history of a human kind
who seeks recipies for happiness and success, which has always been the
most hidden and deeply kept secret. Even if you gain access to this secret
knowledge, you will have doubts and second thoughts about their effective-
ness. Because we refuse to believe what we do not understand, cannot see
on our own eyes and feel by our own touch. We naively think that our own
limitations are the proper measure of limitations. That the only thing that
exists is what science can prove. That there is nothing more than reason.
30. Foreword 1
But that point of view is no longer dominant. We have the freedom of
choice what to believe in and the ability to resist the influential and ho-
stile and to spirit political correctness and majority’s will. Religion is an
experiencing revival. Science has learnt it’s lesson trying to explain my-
stical, and not quite scientifically proven laws of nature. Theology and
philosophy give a helping hand in discovering the beginnings of our uni-
verse. Psychology of happiness will give arguments for those who do not
believe what was stated in previous chapters. You will learn that this truth
is older than you can imagine. It reaches back to more than 2500 years!
Positive psychology
Success is a skill.
Everyone can learn how to achieve it. Throughout the centuries it has
become a secret, due to the lack of knowledge jealously kept by privi-
leged groups. We are very lucky that we live in times when one of the
primary goals is to reveal such secrets. This illuminates unknown pa-
ths of life and plants there reason. Science has given the arguments
that what was written in previous chapters is true. Positive psycholo-
gy has proven that our thoughts do have influence on reality. That pic-
tures from our mind are followed by people’s emotions, how they be-
have in our presence, and what they think about others. Spirals of
31. 1 The Only Truth
misfortune and happiness are terms used to describe a relationship be-
tween nature of our thoughts and events happenning one after another.
In their social experiments, scientists prove that happy and optimistic pe-
ople influence reality by causing more happiness and luck. On the other
hand, people accustomed to misery and negative thoughts attract more bad
luck. The psychology of success teaches that you have to keep things in
perspective. Successful people never allow negative thoughts to hurt them.
Negative thoughts affect your feelings and negative feelings affect your tho-
ughts in a vicious, unending circle. Happiness is an inseparable element of
success. Only people with positive attitude are able to fulfill their dreams.
“Success is not the key to happi-
ness. Happiness is the key to suc-
cess. If you love what you are do-
ing, you will be successful.”
~ Albert Schweitzer
Since its beginnings, psychology has seemed to be obsessed with human
failings. Freud with the idea of psychotherapy taught that human beings
are troubled creatures in the need of improvement, which in his opinion is
a hard task. According to him, our nature has been governed by deep, dark
drives that we could only tenuously control. Theories of human suscep-
tibility to authoritarianism (by T.W. Adorno) explain that we are ready to
give up our freedom in order to feel safe and suppress our fear of loneli-
ness, lack of social connections and anxiety and confusion when it comes
32. Foreword 1
to decision making. Fear has always been a major factor which expla-
ined unnatural and unreasonable human actions. It also appears in crowd
psychology which transforms us into puppets, mindless pieces of bigger
creature. During all 20th century scientists tried to explain what motivates
people for certain actions, mostly bad ones, instead of looking for a key
factors which should be implemented into lives in order to obtain success.
Positive psychology took the opposite direction. It is a new branch of
psychology that seeks to understand positive emotions such as joy, opti-
mism and contentment, things that make life worth living. Positive psy-
chology endeavours to understand how individuals, groups, organizations
and societies thrive and flourish, and how this new knowledge can be
applied to foster happiness, health and fulfillment. It focuses on people’s
strengths and virtues rather than flaws. People didn’t evolve for happi-
ness, we evolved for survival and reproduction. That’s why, we are sen-
sitive to danger. That’s the reason why fear is such an influential adviser.
Pleasure and the positive-reward system is for the purpose of the op-
portunity and gain. And pleasure involves risk, taking a chance that can
override some of your fear at that moment. Psychologists say that nega-
tive emotions help us to survive individually and positive emotions help
to do so collectively. They claim that positive emotional mind sets wi-
den our range of thoughts and actions, fostering play, exploration and
creativity. We become open to new ideas and new experiences. These
states help us create lasting personal resources, such as social connec-
tions and knowledge, which we can then draw on during trying times.
33. 1 The Only Truth
“Happiness is when what you
think, what you say, and what you
do are in harmony.”
~ Mohandas K. Gandhi
Happiness is a life goal for most of us. It is always at the top of
our hierarchy although explained in different ways. Don’t be-
lieve others who say differently. We are egoists, we need to bre-
ath, eat, be happy. It’s as natural as the sun and stars. But our bra-
in doesn’t know that, it was programmed to help us survive. It is a
powerful tool for adaptation to changing reality, not obtaining happiness.
We need to use it’s abilities and reprogram it to serve us in the way
we anticipate.
Studies say that most influence on our state of happiness or lack of it is
caused by random events rather than our estate, education or personal fe-
atures. Weather, traffic, lack of sugar when you want to prepare morning
coffee or your colleagues’ negative attitude are more important for the sta-
te of your mind than factors considered to be the solid basement for hap-
piness. The lesson which psychologists derive from that fact, is a call for
constant work on yourself, building happiness step by step, realizing that
achieving that blessing peaceful state of mind needs much of our effort.
34. Foreword 1
Almost as much positive energy as happiness gives us Joy, but unlike
it, is not all about me - it is connection. The mystics have linked joy to
connection with a power greater than themselves. Contrary to joy which
stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system (controlling “rest and
digest” functions), happiness activates the sympathetic nervous system
(which stimulates the “flight or fight” response), and is largely cogniti-
ve. It’s a state of mind, not an emotion.. We can laugh with either joy
or happiness but weep only from grief or joy. Happiness displaces pain,
but joy embraces it. Such is the case of farewell, without the pain, there
is no joy of reunion. Same with captivity, we can’t feel joy of freedom.
Happiness is a place to visit, not a place to live in.
It’s just as the child’s idea that if you drive far and fast enough, you
can get to the horizon. No, the horizon’s not a place you get to. Hu-
mans hold fast to a number of wrong ideas about what makes them
happy. Ironically, these misconceptions may be evolutionary necessi-
ties. There is a conspiracy between genes and culture to keep us in the
dark about the real sources of happiness. If a society realized that mo-
ney would not make people happy, its economy would grind to a halt.
Psychologists say that people often are wrong thinking the source of their
happiness is an attachment to the present, the belief that we will feel the
same way in the future as we feel today. They provide proofs that people
are rationalizers. They are much more resilient than they realize. Ratio-
nalization is an invisible shield that protects us from psychological pain,
but we don’t realize that we are carrying it. Human mind is constituted
35. 1 The Only Truth
to make the best of the situations in which it finds itself. But people do-
n’t know they have this ability, and that’s the thing that bedevils their
predictions about the future. Positive psychology tries to discover tech-
niques of being happy. Researches has demonstrated that it is possible to
become happier, regardless of one’s life circumstances or temperament.
Happiness strategies.
Enhancing pleasure. In other words - Pleasant Life. Psycholo-
gy claims that we can be happy by savouring, being aware of pleasu-
re and of giving deliberate conscious attention to the experience of
pleasure. We can enhance it by memory building, taking mental pic-
tures or physical souvenir of the event we found joyful, and remini-
scing about it later with others. The single strongest predictor of the
level of pleasure is sharing with others, seeking out others to share the
experience with and telling others how much you value the moment.
You should also be proud of yourself.
Tell yourself how great you are and remember how long you have waited
for this to happen. Pleasure can be derived through senses by sharpening
perception of the moment. Focus on certain elements and block out others,
allow yourself to become totally immersed and try not to think, just sen-
se. Using prospection we can look into the future and discover what will
make us happy. It is also a way to learn what should be the goal of our life.
36. Foreword 1
Mindfulness is a state of mind which anchors us with reali-
ty in that very moment of our life. It is worshipped by philo-
sophies of East because of its positive influence on our mind.
Mindlessness makes us act and interact automatically, without much
thinking.
Mindful attention to the present moment can be developed through
meditation and mindfulness-based therapies. Thanks to mindfulness
we can focus our perspective and sharpen our experience of the pre-
sent moment. Avoid forming habits. Rapidly repeated indulgence in
the same pleasure does not work. Neurons are wired to respond to no-
vel events, and not to fire if the events do not provide new information.
Seek out a variety of experiences and spread out pleasurable events
over time. Surprise yourself or others with small presents of pleasure.
Engagement. It is the way to Good Life. The most fundamental finding
from positive psychology is that strong personal relationships have the
greatest impact on your satisfaction from life. Opposite to income, for
example, level of which has a surprisingly small effect on your happiness.
You should cultivate personal relationships, invest time
and energy in your friends, partners, colleagues and fami-
ly rather than unimportant and useless products of our times.
37. 1 The Only Truth
This enables us to confide and discuss problems and generate a sense of
community, trust and belonging. The very happy people have rich and ful-
filling social life, they spent the least time alone, had good relationships with
friends and had a current romantic partner. Having a work-related mentor
– a wise and trusted professional friend with whom you can confidentially
discuss work-related matters can also contribute to a sense of being related.
Psychology claims that to engage truly in relations, you first need to
know yourself.
Identify, cultivate and use your strengths at work, in family life and
in your leisure time.
We can derive happiness from engaging in a specified activity. It must be
an action for our own sake, challenging, requiring our skills, involvement
and concentration, with immediate feedback and providing us with a sen-
se of control and a feel of time stop. It can be sports, games, art or hobbies.
Participating in this activities make people feel happier, more cheerful,
stronger and more active. They concentrate more, feel more creative and
satisfied. This should motivate us to look after our physical health, get
enough sleep, have regular exercise and diet, rest and relax every day.
Optimal sleepers, sleeping an average of six to eight and a half hours per
night, are reported to have fewer symptoms of depression and anxiety, hi-
gher levels of environmental mastery, personal growth, positive relations
with others, purpose in life and self acceptance than suboptimal sleepers.
38. Foreword 1
Finding meaning. To live Meaningful Life is to be grateful about good
things in your life, trying to remember causes of your successes and people
who have contributed to it. Research demonstrates that writing down three
good things that took place today and reflecting on your role in them lastingly
increases wellbeing and decreases depression. Forgive, let go of anger and
resentment, give another chance and you will receive it also in return. We-
igh up your life, reflect on the progress you are making in working towards
your major life goals and make changes in your life to match your priorities.
We should learn from negative things of our past instead of remem-
bering them, move forward.
Situations that seem impossibly bad turn out not to be so, while goals that
seem incredibly important are only a small part of life. Be satisfied with
‘good enough’ – go for ‘best’ only when it really matters. Giving and perfor-
ming small acts of kindness does not only make you feel good about yourself,
it enhances your connection with others and brings you positive feedback
from others. Psychologists say that the key element to build personal hap-
piness is to find source of meaning, larger principles - religion, philosophy
or spirituality. They are stable groundwork for successful life, giving you
strength, supplying you with faith and offering ready answers and rules,
essential when it comes to making decisions. They emit positive impulses,
motivate you to take an action and bless you with the feeling of self-fulfil-
lment. Engage in activities that are meaningful to you, that are motivating,
offer security, challenge, some autonomy and which you can take pride in.
‘Be content with who you are and be yourself’, say experts of happi-

ness. Care solely about other people’s approval and you will fore-
ver be their prisoner. Identify your personal talents and strengths and
live your life in such a way that enables you to use them to the fullest
extent. Develop a sense of control. It is important to know that you
have some influence over what happens to you. Learn to be optimistic.
Be positive but remain realistic.
Learn to challenge your automatic negative thoughts, dispute pessimi-
stic explanations and reframe situations in a positive light. We are, gene-
rally, too busy trying to squeeze more and more activities into less and
less time. Quantity influences quality, and we compromise on our hap-
piness by trying to do too much. Learn to say ‘no’ without feeling guilty.
Psychology defines the term in which we can measure level of our per-
sonal happiness and success. Wellbeing refers to a positive state of mind
that gives quality to our lives. In psychological literature, it is postula-
ted to combine life satisfaction, or how we think our lives turned out to
be, and affect, or what we feel about our lives. Wellbeing is related to
personal satisfaction, engagement, hope, gratitude, mood stability, me-
aning, self-esteem, resilience, contentment and optimism. It involves
recognizing our strengths and developing our interests and talents. This
leads to us being creative, playful and involved in what we are doing.
As we said before, psychologists prove that popular belief that people wo-
uld be happier if only they could alter the major circumstances of their lives,
such as income, material possessions or the weather, is false. It is an almost
40. Foreword 1
meaningless factor in making us happy. In majority of cases, our wellbeing
is influenced by factors of genetic set point and voluntary control. These are
temperament and personality traits in the first case and kindness towards
others, regular exercise, participating in cultural life, adopting a positive at-
titude, and identifying and striving for meaningful goals in the second one.
We aren’t good psychologists, especially in the matter of self-esteem,
but we cope well with adaptation to a change in our life.
Evangelists of truth
Greatest examples of importance of thought and its influence on re-
ality come from religion. It has always been a sphere in which faith was a
fundamental factor. It is very apparent in Christianity, which was built on
faith. It is the core of this religion, no matter how many people may have
perverted, or misinterpreted the meaning of this great force, and no matter
how many dogmas and creed have been created in its name, which do not
reflect its tenets. That began with a simple idea, born in Christ’s brain. Its
chief tenet was, “do unto others as you would have others do unto you”.
Christ went back to the source He came from, but His idea keeps marching.
The sum and substance of the teachings and the achievements of Christ,
which may have been interpreted as “miracles”, were nothing but produces
of the state of mind known as faith! Some teachers of religion, and many
41. 1 The Only Truth
who call themselves Christians, neither understand nor practice faith. Ide-
as are intangible forces, but they have more power than the physical brains
that give birth to them. Every great leader, from the dawn of civilization
until the present, was a dreamer. Christianity is the greatest potential power
in the world today, because its founder was an intense dreamer who had
the vision and the determination to see realities in their mental and spiri-
tual form, before they had been transmuted into physical form. They have
the power to live on, after the brain that creates them has returned to dust.
“The kingdom of Heaven is
within you.”
~ Jesus
The word “within” is unnecessary. The Kingdom of Heaven is you, said Je-
sus. Christmas is not a time, it is a state of mind. The Christ Mind wills from
the Soul, not from the ego, and the Christ Mind is yours, teaches Christianity.
You, too, have a kingdom which your Soul has created. It is you who creates
the world, who shapes reality. The tool to do it is your mind supported by
love and faith. Christianity assures that love will enter immediately into any
mind which truly wants it, but it must want it truly. Your worth is not esta-
blished by your teaching or your learning, nothing you do or think or wish
or make is necessary to establish it. Your worth was established by God.
One of the first known emphasis on the importance of mind control and
creative function of thoughts was explained by Buddha. The groundwork
42. Foreword 1
for Buddhism’s ethics is belief in Dharma - form of natural universal law
which governs both the physical and moral order of the universe. Dharma
occurs as an order and regularity in behavior of natural phenomena only
for enlightened beings such as Buddha. It is an energy which manages
everything which is alive. In The Four Noble Truths Buddhism underlines
that our existence is suffering (Duhkha), caused by craving, the human
need of possession (Samudaya) and can have an end in Nirvana (Nirodha),
enlightenment. To achieve Nirvana and understand the Four Noble Truth
one must go trough Noble Eightfold Path steps. This path is the training
that Buddhists teach and is passed down from generation to generation.
What matters for us, is that steps on this way are very similar to those on
our way to success. We need to learn from Buddha that our thoughts be-
come reality and that’s the reason why we should always think positive.
“We are what we think. All that we
are arises with our thoughts. With
our thoughts, we make our world.”
~ Buddha
Who am I? It is the basic question that most of us fail to answer. We know
what we like. We are professors in reading our simplest and basic desires.
We know if we like chocolate, sex, sun or a Bloody Mary cocktail. But are
these answers describing who we really are? Can we tell what is good for
us in the long term? Happiness is far too often misunderstood as moments
of quick pleasure. We should realize that joy of living is far more connec-
ted to calmness, clarity and personal fulfillment rather than excitement,
laugh and replenishment. The most basic teachings of Buddhism expla-
43. 1 The Only Truth
in what steps we should undertake on the way to learn true ourselves.
Noble Eightfold Path of Buddhism:
1. Right understanding of oneself as one really is.
2. Right thoughts of renunciation which are opposed to
sense-pleasures, kind thoughts which are opposed to ill
will and thoughts of harmlessness which are opposed to
cruelty.
3. Right speech refraining from falsehood, stealing, slande-
ring, harsh words and frivolous talks.
4. Right action refraining from killing, stealing and lack of
chastity.
5. Right livelihood earring one’s living in a way that is not
harmful to others.
6. Right effort which is the root of all achievement. means
the need of constant develop of our mind, the endeavor
to discard evil that has already arisen, prevent the arising
of evil, develop and promote good.
Buddha teaches that attaining happiness and Enlightenment depends on
one’s own efforts. One must put the Teaching into practice before the de-
sired results can be obtained. Mindfulness with regard to body, feeling,
mind and mental objects. It is the awareness of one’s deeds, words and
thoughts. Meditation means the gradual process of training the mind to
focus on a single object and to remain fixed upon the object without wa-
vering. What makes action good or bad is a matter of intention and choice.
The psychological springs of motivation are described in Buddhism as
‘roots’. Greed, hatred, and delusion are the bad ones and their opposites
– non-attachment, benevolence, and understanding – are the good ones.
The Five Precepts, list of precepts in Buddhism, comparable in the in-
fluence to the Ten Commandments of Christianity, are real milesto-
nes on the way to find similarities between Buddhism and Christiani-
ty. The Five Precepts are undertaken as voluntary commitments in the
44. Foreword 1
ceremony of ‘going for refuge’ when a person becomes a Buddhist.
The Five Precepts:
1. I undertake the precept to refrain from harming living
creatures.
2. I undertake the precept to refrain from taking what has
not been given.
3. I undertake the precept to refrain from sexual immorality.
4. I undertake the precept to refrain from speaking falsely.
5. I undertake the precept to refrain from taking intoxicants.
For us who seek just a way to be happy and live in peace and harmony
with ourselves, nature and fate, walking along the path of Zen - prac-
tical, more laic part side Buddhism’s teachings is much easier than at-
taining the enlightenment. It is a source of an ancient wisdom from
which we can derive our happiness, prosperity and which may help
us to adapt to the change. It is a way of living that has remained for
thousands of years and still affects lives of societies. It is the practi-
ce of mind and spirit. Far East’s societies proved that this great know-
ledge based on ages of experience could be a key to build wealth.
Don’t believe in easy and fast recepies for improving your life. There aren’t
such. Even if there are people who tell you otherwise. Zen helps to discover who
you really are, to understand your own inside, “I” and what you truly need.
Simplicity, mindfulness, calmness, enjoying every single breath,
extracting the most from a particular moment.
45. 1 The Only Truth
Zen literally means meditation and chooses direct, experiential realization
through meditation and dharma practice. In contrast to many religions, Zen
underlines the priority of practice over texts and verbal discourse on meta-
physical questions. It is what should interest us most on our way to achieve
success. The aim of Zen practice is to discover nature of the mind within each
person, through meditation and mindfulness of daily experiences. It requ-
ires seeking internal answers, “introspection”. Zen will give You new per-
spectives and insights on existence which ultimately lead to enlightenment.
“Words have the power to both
destroy and heal. When words are
both true and kind, they can chan-
ge our world.”
~ Buddha
In order to take advantage of Zen teachings in business activities, first you
need to accept changes as a constant. The value of the plan isn’t mindless
implementation in a guessed-at future but planning a process. Planning
enhances vision and understanding of the past, present, and future, it is the
management of change. Use planning to remain mindful of the direction
you want to move in. Understand how, as you move through business time,
you were always different from what you thought you’d be. You do that
by leaving tracks (the plan) which you can use to trace changed assump-
tions (plan vs. actual). Correct your course as your assumptions change,
remaining mindful of the long-term direction and short-term necessity.
Connection to the word of spirit, and your own mind are led through re-
gular practice - meditation. As we previously mentioned, wisdom em-

bedded in Zen and Far East philosophy is just another way to tell us what
we can achieve using just our open mind and strong will. Such know-
ledge can be found in teachings of different religions, philosophies, ide-
as, doctrines and movements. Each one, even the most exotic, has one
root and purpose. It is to give us the solution for being happy. Under
the rulership of mysticism, Christianity, which taught that each live is
ruled by fate, not our will, Western societies gather this highly restric-
ted knowledge in secret organizations. The most important lesson that we
should derive from what has been written, is that everything depend on
us. We should follow the capacity of our mind. Change is complex and
needs training. Happiness and Enlightenment depend on our own efforts.
Secret societies - secular se-
arch of mystic energ y
Secret societies do exist. They have played an important role in the
world’s history right up to this day. But we are wrong about the purpose of
their existence. Their primary goal was not to rule the world but to preserve
secret knowledge which allows that. Mystery that can move the world cre-
ates history, stands behind all great events of our times. Their purpose was
to build and preserve precious acquaintances, which are a real tool for bu-
ilding power. An official dominating establishment history does not men-
tion secret societies. The privilege of access to the mystery of our mind and
mechanism which rule our reality was strictly limited for a very long time.
47. 1 The Only Truth
There were various secret groups which kept that knowledge deeply
hidden. Accounts of elders or priests who guarded the forbidden know-
ledge of ancient people. Prominent men, who were meeting in se-
cret, directed the course of civilization are recorded in the writings of
all people. But in contradiction to secrets revealing best-selling novels,
such fiercely hidden knowledge is simple. It is always about what in-
terests people the most, their personal happiness, future and power.
One of the most influential groups which has survived to temporary ti-
mes are Freemasons. It’s the world’s largest fraternal organization, that
according to some authors, evolved from the guilds of medieval stone-
masons and originatesd from the once powerful and wealthy Knights
Templar order. There are also links to more dark and mysterious alche-
my, occult sciences and the idea of natural magic and man (microcosm)
as the image of macrocosm. Sorcerer, who is said to be the Predecessor
of a Mason was a true explorer of the universe’s secrets and embodi-
ment of uniqueness. Freemasonry today is a worldwide political, religio-
us, economic and social body, an organized society of men symbolical-
ly applying the principles of operative Masonry and architecture to the
science and art of character building. Principles which rule their lives
were always connected to the capacity of human mind. They have al-
ways worshiped enlightenment. Does it sound familiar to you? Isn’t it a
main goal of religious and philosophical movements stated previously?
Groundwork for Freemasonry is the ritual and symbolism. Masons
use it to teach moral and ethical lessons of the principles of “Brother-
ly Love, Relief, and Truth”. Apart from differences in rites, languages,
symbolism, teachings and philosophical roots we can summarize all
of so fiercely hidden knowledge into a basic message. Think, use your
48. Foreword 1
mind. Let the main purpose in your life be not what makes you feel
better in the short term, but what makes you proud of yourself. All the-
se secrets have but one father - our mind, not our personality. Mind
which is treated as an external tool to fulfill our goals and manage
our body. Tool that needs to be taken care of, given regular check-up.
During Freemason’s secret initiation before candidate’s eyes cock, ho-
urglass and death skull are being put. Meaning of this act is connected
with alchemy, ancient practice devoted for achieving an ultimate wisdom
finding method to change base metals into gold, and “elixir of longevity”.
Hourglass is a symbol of time turning all forms of matter into nothing.
Black color and skull are symbolic visualizations of death and rot, exten-
ded before a candidate. Path which a candidate must walk starts from
humility and sign visible in every Masons’ Lodge - V.L.T.R.L.O.L (latin.:
Visita lnteriora Terrae, Rectificandoque, lnvenies Occultum Lapidem)
which means “Visit Earth’s Interior and through purification you will find
The Secret Stone”. The Candidate sits in the Chamber of Meditation and
is told to write down his philosophical last will, which helps him to deter-
mine his relations with the world, God and other people and is a pass to
the temple. Putting down all his metal belongings is a symbol of leaving
wealth and honors as well as habits and superstitions. He uncovers his left
part of chest and left foot which means sincerity, humility and respect.
During all his initiation ceremony, the candidate for a Mason is having
his eyes covered to underline his attachment to the world of darkness
and chaos. He is released to the light at the end of the process. Light
is one of the most important symbols in Freemasonry. It is regarded
as cognition and pure mind. Initiation ceremony ends for a new Ma-
son by handing him his attributes - The Square and Compasses carved

into stone, two of principal symbolic tools always found in a Lodge.
It means wisdom, the power of creation as well as restraint and limita-
tion of desires, balance between physical and spiritual forces, active-
ness and passiveness, Heaven and Earth. It is an image of perfection.
Masons search truth by killing their ego and withdrawing from its aspects
in a form of materialism, the urge to dominate and the selfishness. The ri-
tual of initiation is like a training of mind. Its importance is underlined by
the fact that it is the most deeply hidden secret of Freemasonry. Only can-
didates who pass this test correctly are able to read clearly Masonic sym-
bols. The state of mind shaped during initiation, ability of reading symbols
correctly and knowledge written in them are that precious treasures hidden
before eyes of an ordinary man. Mason’s lodge, where members of this
society meet, is retreat from the outside world. They seek spiritual rebirth
there. Every mason is in search of becoming a better man, not better than
someone else but better than himself would otherwise be and therefore
an exemplary member of society. As in many religions, death for masons
doesn’t mean the end, but opening on a new, superior and more perfect
phase of life. They refer to God as “The Great Architect of the Universe”.
“We can easily forgive a child who
is afraid of the dark; the real trage-
dy of life is when men are afraid of
the light.”

tion, by Plato
50. Foreword 1
Powerful people found great benefits in membership in Masonry. Freema-
sons where America’s Founding Fathers (Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jef-
ferson, William Paterson), Presidents (Gerald Ford, Harry Truman, both
Roosevelt, Andrew Jackson, James Monroe, George Washington), Vice-
Presidents, Senators, generals, Kings and Queens, Prime Ministers (Win-
ston Churchill), religious and international leaders (Arafat, Garibaldi, Bo-
livar, King Hussein, Jesse Jackson, Oral Roberts), great families, business
and economic leaders (The Rothschilds and the Rockefellers, H. Ford, W.
Chrysler, A. Citroen, C. Hilton), movie actors and directors (John Wayne,
Clark Gable, Walt Disney, Houdini, Oliver Hardy, Jimmy Rodgers), mu-
sicians (Mozart, Beethoven, Handel, Haydn, Duke Ellington, Puccini, Lo-
uis Armstrong, Nat King Cole), writers (Shakespeare, Voltaire, Kipling,
Tolstoy, Pushkin, Doyle), astronauts and pilots (Neil Armstrong, Charles
Lindbergh), architects, medicine, sports, and many others… An impressi-
ve list, isn’t it? So much great names but just few whose personal data and
fact of membership was public. What if they all derived their greatness from
lodges? What if being a Mason helped them to amass power and fortune?
But there are more secret societies, even more mysterious and significant.
Skull and Bones, the Brotherhood of Death in other words, is one of the
oldest student secret societies in the United States based on Masonic inspi-
red rituals. Members of this group, sworn to silence, are the most influen-
tial people in this world. Both Bush presidents, senator John Kerry, Barack
Obama’s economic adviser Austan Goolsbee, banker Lewis Lapham, poli-
tical adviser Tex McCrary, politician Averell Harriman, influential Ameri-
can publisher Henry Luce, president John F. Kennedy’s advisor McGeorge
Bundy and Rockefellers - what mystery are they keeping? They are Hege-
lians, professing that the State is almighty, and seen as “the march of God
on earth.” The selection procedure for new members of The Order has not

changed since 1832. Each year 15, and only 15 - never fewer, are selected.

The Knights Templar, The United Religious, Military and Masonic Or-
ders of the Temple and of St John of Jerusalem, Palestine, Rhodes and

ver and preserve The Only Truth. We know little about them. We can’t
tell the difference between the legends and facts. Their version of truth
died, only particles of it remained. As well as the Illuminati. They were
main characters of several bestseller books. They are known as a ra-
dical movement of freethinkers, founded during The Enlightenment.
They did not require belief in a supreme being and were said to seek
to overthrow organized religion. It is believed that they wished to cre-
ate One World Government based on humanist and atheist principles.
There are others. Hermetic Order of The Golden Dawn, A Bilderberg Me-
eting, The Priory of Sion, The Rosicrucian. The first is said to have been the
forerunner of a majority of modern Occult groups and have had the belief
system largely taken from Christian mysticism, Qabalah, Hermeticism, the
religion of Ancient Egypt, Freemasonry, Alchemy, Theosophy, Magic, and
Renaissance writings. The Bilderberg Group is the name given to a group
of highly influential people who meet ever year in secrecy. The topics di-
scussed are kept secret. The structure of the meetings is that of a conference
- usually held in five star hotels around the world. The Priory of Sion is be-
lieved to have had long history starting in AD 1099, famous Grand Masters
(Isaac Newton and Leonardo da Vinci), and deeply hidden and thoroughly
preserved truth - descendants of Jesus and his alleged wife Mary Magda-
lene as members. Religious revival seek also still believed to be present,

They focus on finding a path to harmonious development of mind and heart
in a spirit of unselfish service to mankind and an all-embracing altruism.
Secret societies still exist, we can be sure of it. Seductive charm of my-
stery, man’s need for affiliation and power explain their existence. Even
though they still act behind the curtains, pull invisible strings of power,
their limitless influence is not so obvious any more. The knowledge so de-
eply hidden by them is now more accessible than ever. Choose the direc-

ning desire and believe that it will happen

H ow to find a path to success? How to find determination to
reach it and fulfill your dreams? How to drag on our page this
infinite source of energy to improve our life? How to make proper choices?
In previous chapters we’ve proved that our life can be changed. We-
’ve found that there is magic, not as a paranormal activity, but positi-
ve, creative energy which surrounds us. We have learned that we
are not alone in this world with that thinking, that there are glimp-
ses of this truth in major religions and teachings of great minds of
our world. There are secret societies that made it their greatest secret.
54. Foreword 1
We have to find and accept that positive energy. If we do so, we will
immediately become part of a brighter side of life, members of luckier
society of smile. Before each step we make, our mind sends signals to
forces that rule our fate, we are the ones they should be merciful to.
That invisible source of energy, which tries to balance world by giving
to those who search for it and welcome and taking back from those
who don’t share its principles, who are blind on its presence. Love is
the key to the life of health, wealth and happiness. It is easier to be he-
althy if you are happy. And it is easier to be happy if you are in love
with what you are doing. Spirit is the key, but in the puzzle of suc-
cess reason is an equally important element. Let us say it once again.
In the puzzle of success, reason is an element as important as spirit.
Being rich has as much materialistic meaning as spiritual. Furthermore, if
we want to achieve particular goals, we need to count not only on propi-
tious circumstances but have also a workable plan. In this part of the book,
we will try to find reasonable factors of success, prosperity guaranteed on
condition supplemented by positive attitude, friendship with energy and
the presence of mind to seize the opportunities. You have to be well pre-
pared for gifts from luck. This is a factor which appears only for those
who accept magic, love or what they will see as positive energy in them-
selves. Readiness means that you should always keep your perceptions
straight. You must be ready to listen, willing to learn, and able to do so.
If you have a bulldog desire to fulfill your dreams, you must forget abo-

ut apologies and alibis. Your faith in yourself and in the future which
you have before your eyes is about to happen, time won’t permit any
excuses. It will give you strength in the moments of temporary defeat.
Mistake that should give you more motivation regarding the rule that eve-
ry failure brings with it the seed of an equivalent success. Before suc-
cess comes in any man’s life, he is sure to meet much temporary defeat
and, perhaps, some failure. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and
most logical thing to do is to quit. That is exactly what the majority of
people do. Failure is a trickster with a keen sense of irony and cunning.
The most common mistake which most of us don’t realize, is misinterpre-
tation of reality. Far too often we aren’t aware of reality, we don’t perce-
ive truly seeing only illusions. We need to look on others as we see them
now, their past and our former behaviour have no relevance to the present.
If you remember the past as you look upon others, you will be unable
to perceive the reality that is now. You consider “natural” to use your
past experience as the reference point from which to judge the present.
Yet this is unnatural because it is delusional. When you have learned to
look upon everyone with no reference to the past at all, either theirs or
yours as you perceived it, you will be able to learn from what you see
now. For the past can cast no shadow to darken the present unless you
are afraid of light. We are all wrong about the world because we have
misjudged ourselves. We cannot see the truth because we judge it as false.
Positive energy gives you only what you have given to it. Whatever you
hold as dear you think is yours, the power of your valuing will make it so.
Even in seemingly difficult moments you shouldn’t be bothered with
what everyone says about your primary goal. It is your desire, you ca-

n’t loose faith at any second by such words of discouragement. But it
doesn’t mean that applying lessons of this book make you infallible.
Proper and reasonable criticism is sometimes invaluable in the matter
of tactics and your plan’s implementation. It could be that blessed luck
which can suddenly change your life just like a miracle. We hope that
this book will be such a helping hand. But for now let’s look hereunder.
There are 10 fundamental principles of success.
1. Finding out what you really want
2. Faith
3. Courage
4. Determination
5. Frugality
6. Training
7. Right thoughts
8. Planning
9. Collecting resources
10. Seizing the opportunity
57. 1 The Only Truth
1. What do You really want?
Be true to yourself.
It is a basic question of our life. The question “What do you want?”
must be answered. You are answering it every minute and every second,
and each moment of the decision is a judgment which is anything but in-
effectual. To answer it sincerely one should cut out from noisy reality and
look deep inside himself. Even an apparently most complicated situation
has a simple solution. All you need is to learn what people really want,
what their purpose is. It is the core of their action, even a subconscious one.
For first and foremost, we must know what we want, and be determined
to stand by that desire until we realize it. Money, education are worthless
without initiative, faith, and the will to win. Its effects will follow auto-
matically until the decision is changed. But your decision can be unmade
as well as made. Remember though, that the alternatives are unalterable.
All you need to learn is what you and other people really want.
Before the greatest achievements were accomplished, at first, and for a
time, but a dream. It is the seedlings of reality. The world is filled with
abundance of opportunity which the dreamers of the past never knew.
You should start with crystallizing your dream. Putting it in a form.
58. Foreword 1
Placing in future reality, giving colors, feelings, sounds, will liven up
in your mind. Yet it is very important to visualize it as a third person.
Make it a fact that will happen in the future, where you look at your-
self from a distance. Along with regular visualization strong will to ac-
complish it should follow - almost obsession to make it happen, an over-
whelming feeling that nothing could stop from putting your dream into
an action, certainty you will overcome any obstacle. You should anew
in your mind the fire of hope, faith, and courage. If you have these sta-
tes of mind, and working knowledge of the principles described in this
book, all else that you need will come to you, when you are ready for it.
You should anew in your mind the fire of hope, faith and courage.
Second step, after crystallizing your primary dream, is to create the rank
of your goals. Find out what lays deep inside yourself and motivates
you to make choices. It is a hard task, because we are lousy psycholo-
gists, especially considering ourselves. You have to be ready to change
your life and feel strong need to start implementing this ingredients of
success. Discover and apply stimulus to make a first step - well-defined
purpose supported with all of our energy, power and effort. You need to
stick to your desire until it becomes dominating obsession of your life-
and-finally, desire which can outwits mother nature and transmute itself
into its physical equivalent. To believe that you can perceive the real
world is to believe that you can know yourself. Yet the swiftness with
which your new and only real perception will be translated into know-
ledge will leave you only an instant to realize that this judgment is true.
59. 1 The Only Truth
Perception is a choice of what you want yourself to be, the world you
want to live in, and the state in which you think your mind will be content
and satisfied. It chooses where you think your safety lies, at your decision.
It reveals yourself to you as you would have yourself be. And it is always
faithful to your purpose, from which it never separates, nor gives the sli-
ghtest witness to anything the purpose in your mind upholds. Perception is
a part of what it your purpose to behold is, for means and an end are never
separated. And thus you learn what seems to have a life apart has none.
You need to be present.
But how do you get there? This work tells us how: when you’re acti-
vely noticing new things, you become more aware of context and per-
spective. You end up with a healthier respect for uncertainty, something
we are taught to fear. Our baseline state should be mindful, it’s how we
should feel virtually all the time. Mindfulness is the essence of chari-
sma, when people are there, we notice. When you don’t take the world
as given, but as full of possibilities, it becomes endlessly exciting.
60. Foreword 1
2. Faith
Certainty of oneself and self-confidence are essential in achieving
success. Who will push your dreams into accomplishment if not you? You
must acknowledge that you have the ability to achieve your life goals. You
need to believe in yourself. If you lack it, you will be apprehensive, fru-
strated, resentful, and demoralized. Your behavior will be passive. Avoid
taking initiatives and constantly seek reassurance. Where to seek source
to derive such certainty? Start from believing that self-confidence is a skill
that can be acquired. That you are as well worth it as others. Derive it just
from who you are, your inalienable dignity as a human being. No matter
what your deeds, attributes and origin are you are worth to believe in.
Start from believing that self-confidence is a skill that can be acqu-
ired.
You will fulfill your dream. Be who you want to be on condition of
a strong desire built on unshakeable faith. You should demand of
yourself persistent, continuous action towards attainment of your
dream. Knowledge, the process of reproducing thoughts into re-
ality, should result in discipline of your thought’s concentration.
You should regularly picture yourself, who you intend to become.
61. 1 The Only Truth
Work on your self-confidence visualizing it regularly in your mind.
If you think you can, life sooner or later will think the same. Behave
as self-confident people do, adopt their postures, thoughts, and ac-
tions. Be flexible. Do not be afraid of change, whenever road that
you follow turn suddenly in unknown direction. Do not look back at
your mistakes analyzing them thoroughly. Leave them behind and
look straight ahead. Only people who do nothing make no mistakes.
Being kind and self-understanding to yourself will help bn building
your confidence. Stop to form self-punishment mistakes. Be proud of
what you’ve done. Success means being fair to yourself and to others.
You need to be fair and assertive, know how to balance aggression and
passivity, how to strike a balance between reflecting and reacting. As-
sertiveness is based on the idea that your needs, wants, and feelings are
neither more nor less important than those of other people. You have the
right to make claims for yourself clearly and honestly, as long as those
claims don’t impinge on the rights of others. You have to believe witho-
ut any doubt that you have the same rights as anyone else. Think befo-
re you act, but don’t avoid taking action. Assertive people are able to
express their anger clearly and appropriately, focusing that anger on the
behavior, not the person. Being assertive means thinking highly of your-
self and others as well as and knowing exactly what he or she wants.
There is not a problem in any situation that faith will not so-
lve. There is no shift in any aspect of the problem but will make
solution impossible. For if you shift part of the problem el-
sewhere, the meaning of the problem must be lost, and the
solution to the problem is inherent in its meaning. Is it not po-
ssible that all your problems have been solved, but you have re-
62. Foreword 1
moved yourself from the solution? Yet faith must be whe-
re something has been done, and where you see it done. A
situation is a relationship, being the joining of thoughts. If problems are per-
ceived, it is because the thoughts are judged to be in conflict. But if the goal is
truth, this is impossible. Some idea of bodies must have entered, for minds
cannot attack.
By faith, you offer the gift of freedom from the past, which you re-
ceived. You do not use anything your brother has done befo-
re to condemn him now. You freely choose to overlook his er-
rors, looking past all barriers between yourself and his, and seeing
them as one. And in that one you see your faith is fully justified.
Faith is always justified.
Faith is the opposite of fear, as much a part of love as fear is of attack. Reason
will tell you that the only way to escape from misery is to recognize it, and go
the other way. Truth is the same and so is misery, but they are different from
each other in every way, in every instance, and without exception. One illu-
sion cherished and defended against the truth makes all truth meaningless,
and all illusions real. Such is the power of belief. It cannot compromise.
The state of mind must be belief, not mere hope or wish.
63. 1 The Only Truth
There is a difference between wishing for a thing and being ready to re-
ceive it. No one is ready for a thing, until he believes he can acquire it.
Open-mindedness is essential for belief. Closed minds do not inspire fa-
ith, courage, and belief. Remember, no more effort is required to aim high
in life, to demand abundance and prosperity, than is required to accept
misery and poverty. Faith is the head chemist of the mind. When faith is
blended with the vibration of thought, the subconscious mind instantly
picks up the vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent, and trans-
mits it to Infinite Intelligence, as in the case of prayer. Faith is a state of
mind which you may develop at will, which may be induced, or created
by affirmation or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through
the principle of auto-suggestion. Any impulse of thought which is repe-
atedly passed on to the subconscious mind, is finally accepted and acted
upon by the subconscious mind, which proceeds to translate that impul-
se into it physical equivalent, by the most practical procedure available.
Give your desire a feeling, have strong faith, especially in yourself,
put your plan to accomplish it into motion and your thoughts will
start to shape reality in the way you want.
Resolve to throw the influences of any unfortunate environment, and to
build your own life to order. By taking mental assets and liabilities, you
will discover that your greatest weakness is lack of self-confidence. This
handicap can be surmounted, and timidity translated into courage with
the aid of the principle of autosuggestion. The application of this prin-
ciple may be made through a simple arrangement of positive thought
impulses stated in writing, memorized, and repeated until they become
64. Foreword 1
a part of the working equipment of the subconsciousness of your mind.
3. Courage
Feel self-esteem, sureness of your own value - opposi-
te to fear, our greatest enemy. When you are afraid of everything, you
are acknowledging its power to hurt you. Whenever you are afra-
id, it is a sure sign that you have allowed your mind to miscreate.
Fear arises when you think that you will loose something.
You are afraid because you have not made up your mind yet. You are
divided, not sure what to do. There are no principles which could help
you to choose right direction. Each path is covered by the black mist
of the unknown. This uncertainty throws you into the tight grip of
fear. Only your mind can produce fear and only you are able to over-
come it. Fear appears when there is lack of love. It produces inevita-
ble strain because willing and doing become discordant. You cannot
overcome it by better doing, but it can be corrected by higher willing.
Love and fear are insane - they make up a private world
which cannot be shared.
65. 1 The Only Truth
Love and fear are our two most basic emotions. They are contradictory
except for one common thing: they are all insane. They are made of si-
ghts which are not seen and sounds which are not heard. They are me-
aningful only to their maker, only he perceives them and so they have
no meaning at all. Beside illusion, what disturbs us most in our way to
happiness and peaceful mind, is anger. It creates false picture of reali-
ty, deludes us into the teeth of destructiveness, converts into a machi-
ne driven by emotions rather than thoughts. Anger cannot occur unless
you believe that you have been attacked, that your attack was justi-
fied, and that you are in no way responsible. If you do so, it means that
you do not understand what love is, because love cannot be destroyed.
The mind that accepts an attack cannot love and loses the awareness of
being, induces feelings of unreality. Feel week and vulnerable to attack. It
devotes you to nothing. But you do have power to change this destructive
course. It is you and your thinking that lead you to this point, and your own
thinking can also save you from it. You are able to direct your thinking as
you wish, remember that and appreciate yourself, your friends, and other
people. When you do not appreciate, you cannot love. Whenever you are
afraid of what you are, you do not appreciate it, and therefore reject it. Fear
makes appreciation impossible and welcomes anger as a most influential
advisor. You become therefore more capable of hurting somebody and
yourself. The only way to have peace is to act peacefully towards others.
We are afraid that we may receive what we wish for.
66. Foreword 1
You do not ask only for what you want. This is solely because you are afraid
you might receive it and for sure you would, on condition that you will have a
strong desire and right thoughts. Fear means that you withdraw from reality
and pledge yourself to lie. Fear is not of the present, but only of the past and
future, which do not exist. All energy which should be used on improving
your life is shaping reality in the way you want you expend on fear. You limit
your energy, you are wasting it on denying the truth instead of harmonious
acceptance. If you seek courage and strength, love should be the first an-
swer. Because only love is strong and therefore sees no point in attacking.
Every decision you make stems from what you think you are.
There is a deep responsibility you owe to yourself, one which
you must learn to remember all the time. You feel week becau-
se you misinterpret reality, use negative criteria, always expect the
worst to happen. There’s always someone who has to lose. If you
perceive yourself as weak, you believe you gain what they lose.
Every illusion is the one of fear, whatever form it takes.
It is meaningless to seek wisdom in illusions. Love, positive energy is
actually in you. If you seek it outside yourself you can be certain that you
perceive only hatred within. You can find peace only in you, it comes from
reality. Seek love messages. They are filling air with gentleness. Each
emotion asks for messages of different things in different languages. Fear
