has reduced their carbon footprint through the purchase of
Voluntary Carbon Standard (V.C.S.) carbon offset credits
reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 58 kg of CO2e
partner from Aydin Salavatli Dora-1 Geothermal Power Plant
It is a 7.9 MW renewable energy geothermal power
plant. Using geothermal energy, the power plant
generates electricity that is exported to the national
purchase date grid of Turkey. The project is forecast to generate
51,284 MWh per year, displacing 30,309 tonnes of

greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) annually. In
addition, some of the waste heat is planned to be used
in local greenhouses to support the regional
receipt number horticultural industry.
